You are an Angel to help those with the major form. I think you are amazing. Thank you.May I make a suggestion in your talks? Please do not say that Thalassemia minor is nothing and has no symptoms because it does. It is not life-threatening, but our blood cells are tiny too, and we do not carry oxygen really well. We are anemic also maybe less but it affects our life. Just like depression is an illness and is not easily seen, that minor and intermedia suffer too. My Mother said I slept so much as a baby she had to wake me up to feed me to keep me alive. I moved slow and talked slow to conserve energy, I was always tired and sleeping. My father the same. When I was pregnant my hemoglobin was dangerously low and I had to be watched weekly, having blood tests and having to talk huge double prenatal vitamins, and I was still low. My baby was born with fetal hemoglobin. I deal with low energy levels all the time. If I did not take B vitamins and multiple vitamins I would be very low energy, which causes depression. So PLEASE b=neever say it is nothing, it has some side effects, please say that it does, because no one will listen to us and see we have a problem.

As a Thalassemia patient myself I feel myself as a burden on my parents because I have also a rare blood type Ab- I really feel so bad when my parents call everywhere for blood and waste their whole day and take me hospital for blood transfusion 🙁 Except of helping them they are caring for me I am 16 yrs old teenager and every teenager wants to help their parents in these years I start getting annoying and frustrating from this disease I don't wanna to go hospital anymore but there's no other choice ☹️😓 Take blood transfusion or rather Die
