This kid is quickly becoming my favorite fighter. At this point it might be Inoue or Bam. I am one of those boxing fans that took time to get warmed up to the lightest of the weight classes. Then I watched Inoue. Then I watched Bam. Then I watched Nakatani, and so on and realized the talent (much like many U.S. boxing fans) I was missing out on. You really see the difference between a solid, veteran fighter just being overwhelmed by the phenomenal talent of Bam Rodriguez.

For me it was Inoue, Sunny then Bam. Those are now the main 3 lower weight fighters I like but I pay attention to those weight classes because these 3 made them interesting to me with how different yet effective their styles are.

One thing Ive noticed is that in North America they tend to watch more “Middle” weight fighters, EU tends to watch more “Heavier” weights while Asia consumes more of the “Lighter” weights. So many people from each major country/continent don’t realize that each of these divisions have some crazy talent, some even exceeding divisions. People like Rodriguez, Edwards, Inoue and Nakatani are shining some light on lighter divisions; which I love. Same thing with the Heavyweight divisions with Miller, Dubois etc. With whats going on in the lighter divisions currently, I believe it easily exceeds whats going on currently in the middle weight divisions.
