Last Saturday, Nick and Nathan Diaz lived up to their reputation as loose cannons when they took part in a post-fight brawl with Jason Mayhem Miller on national TV. In part 2 of this FIGHT! Life series, the Diaz brothers set the record straight on why they dont have any love for their opponents.

Absolutely nothing wrong with how these guys act. They come from Stockton and grew up in a sport where bored rich kids would train with them and would tell them that they'll never be good enough and they both have a huge chips on their shoulders and it's fighting. Plain and simple. It's not a suit-wearing type of job, you're going out there to punch people in the face. Name a fighter that doesn't talk shit before a fight, you cant because everyone does but people continue to single these guys out because they're different because they don't come from the same socioeconomic background as people would like them to. I'm not from stockton, that's middle cali close to sacramento but there really isn't a single neighborhood in cali that doesn't see the same type of crime or demographics of people. So if you've ever been there you'll see the type of things these guys had to grow up dealing with and even just growing up in Lodi and stockton and places like that is a struggle and these guys chose to do a respectable, difficult sport and not resort to gang life or anything like that. They personify the type of attitude you have to have if you grow up in those areas because you can't be weak, you can't let people walk all over you and treat you like you're a bitch. You have to always be tougher than that next dude who gets in your face and they are underdogs in life and they take that mentality into the octagon with them regardless if they're the underdog there or not. Love these guys.

These "boys" who apparently according to you do not concentrate on MMA, well they compete in triathlons when not fighting to help with endurance while fighting.
