Definitely not, they were a city SWAT team that honestly wouldn't last 15 minutes against a 3rd string NG fire team in the same situation. HRT is different, but they only come in for high value rescues on US soil - not for a situation like this.

@@monkeymouse1403 you underestimate city SWAT. SWAT has a huge variance in skill. Some jurisdictions let anyone in, some teams are made up of tier 2 and 1 ex-military. In almost any case however, they're better in a city fight than NG. NG is a primary fixing force in the killchain, not a killing force.

It's kind of believable. Ballistic helmets do not offer much blunt force protection so any impact that doesn't deform the shell (such as a gunshot) is transmitted right into your skull. This is why guys who use vehicles like ATVs or motorcycles also carry a bump helmet which is a regular safety helmet like what you wear for bikes, just outfitted with a stronger suspension and night vision mounts. Although the helmets they are wearing are chinese airsoft helmets made to look like ballistic helmets, and are actually made from regular bike helmets.

@@fredericklockard3854 It definitely can happen. A ballistic helmet is like having a piece of wood against your head, there is no dissipation of impact if the helmet itself doesn't deform. So anything that could knock you out on the bare head will also do the same with a helmet (inertial effects accounted of course, helmets are about 3lb so without momentum behind the strike then yeah the helmet will block. Elbow strikes are high momentum, low velocity strikes though). A bike helmet on the other hand will let you fall backwards right on your head and likely not feel anything. Not even a bruise.
