AKUMA Gameplay Comparison (SF5 - SF6)

ATTENTION: Some movements in this comparison may not be 100% the same in terms of commands, some may only be approximate or visually similar. Also, in SF6 we have some new movements and others that have been "extinct". So even if there are differences in some movements, we try to make it as similar as possible. For example: 00:14 A new Target X The "classic" double kick Similar movements, but different commands. (Replaced...maybe? Other Version ?) So far we don't have complete Akuma's movelist. No it's not replaced. he looks like he still has a version of double standing HK thing. He kind of jumps more off the ground to do it and can link standing mk. you can see it I think on the last combo demo'd The 0:14 target combo starts with standing mk. It is completely new like you said

In the original trailer, 5Hk is there after he does the demon slide. It wasn't replaced, that was just a whole new target combo 5Hk -> 5Mk -> DR into a combo that ends with shoryuken into level3.

I love how he now says die 1000 deaths so calmly. It represents how much stronger he has become. It’s as if it used to be this strong and new level he obtained and he was thrilled to display it. Now it’s just a typical move for him. They did a great job with that small detail.

At least, visually-wise, Akuma in SF6 is an insane upgrade from Akuma Matata. He legit looks intimidating now. In SF5, he had a silly visual, that's for sure lol. They did justice to the demon himself.

@@realchezboi EX's had always been 1-2 hits more than standard. But OD moves...esp on fireballs, have all been like +2-3 hits. The standard Red Fireball has Always been 3 hits (due to the VERY long startup frames) so assuming it's 3 hits, + 2-3, that'd make it 5-6 hits on total, not less than 4/5
