Honestly they could just make him choose which level 2 he has for the game. This way you have only one, kkz is his least useful one but the coolest, the double back kick is for if you want a long range punish, which is pretty useful. Or normal level 2 with wallsplat and busted combo damage. Pros would still select the normal level 2 but casuals wouldn't or if you're in ranked. Would be sick asf

You choose your level 2 before starting the match like sfv V-skill / V-triggers, would make for some more interesting gameplay and he already has thos animations

I mean people are obviously going to use this outside of training mode, the whole reason it's in the game this way is so that you can agree to fight against a real player playing Shin Akuma but it's literally ONLY accessible if both players allow it. Super cool and a really clever way of adding Shin Akuma in a way that it doesn't need to be auto-banned necessarily.

The main series of SF never had this version of Shin Akuma until SFV when base form Akuma had the same kanji as God Akuma.

it’s like that one match of JJBA: All Star Battle where a Wonder of U player let a Final Pucci achieve Made in Heaven mode before even attempting to mount an offense. for context, Final Pucci’s mechanic is that he has to do a command where he must be vulnerable for a whole second to talk to his master’s weird demon baby *sixteen times* to unlock C-Moon, and then pull off his lvl3 super (GHA) while C-Moon is active to activate Made in Heaven, an install state that slows and weakens everything except pucci and the timer, which goes much, much faster.

Riceball in Japanese word is Onigiri, the word Onigiri has "Oni" in it, which means "demon" (鬼) in Japanese, so when Akuma ate "Oni"giri then turns into true demon, means Shin Akuma. And remember in SF4, Akuma' s another form is called "Oni" (Kuruoshiki Oni, 狂オシキ鬼).
