@lordofudead8 жыл бұрын
I see alot of hate comments here, so I want to clear up a few misinterpretations that went down. First off: this is a sparing match, no unduly force is used in the fight (sparing matches are only for technique and practice, you never want to actually hurt your sparing partner). The trainers knew this and as such never used any harmful force and the Pro Fighter, also knowing this, never used any force that was unnecessary. Everyone was holding back. The Pro figher was just moving faster and with better technique, there was very minimal force behind her blows, even if it looked like it. Additionally, those are sparing gloves...they have MUCH higher levels of padding than competition gloves (even most fighting rings like that have padded floors, the loud noise of them hitting the ground is energy dissipating, like when cars crumple to absorb impact). Most clubs wont actually let you spare with competition gloves unless your wearing a mouth guard or head padding (only takes 1 good hit to knock out teeth, accidental or otherwise). no one got hurt, no one was bullied. If you have ever been in a sparing fight with someone and you do nothing but guard they will, purposely, keep hitting your guard until you try something else. you dont learn anything by just guarding. As trainers they were not scared of getting hit or hurt, they simply could not think of anything they could do to counter her technique. It was very them thinking "what do I do 0.o, what can I do against this" Its all good fun, everyone was laughing. dont hate on this very funny video.

Except for this one bullshit assistant trainer that beat the crap out of me to appear to be macho in front of the club. DUDE. Really, this guy conducted himself about as well as one could in that situation. He sparred with her, even though her initial persona was clearly not ready for it, and took her seriously enough to throw some meaningful punches, but didn't hurt her, and I didn't see that he ever belittled her. Then when she came back, even when she uncorked on him, he didn't get shitty or aggressive. Given that he thought she was still a beginner (though at that point probably knew something was up), that's the right thing to do.

@nugget25709 жыл бұрын
PuroYO Well to be fair it was just sparing, nobody actually got injured and the guys did know how to fight. So if it were girls that were in that profession and the man took them down in the same way she did then I din't see anything wrong with it, As long as the man didn't bloody the girls up or anything~ Girls like that are tough, they'd probably laugh and try to put up a fight just like the guys did. ^^
@Sothpawman9 жыл бұрын
Katelyn Renbarger Hate to burst you bubble, but the video is more than likely a set up. Those guys let her trip and wail on them, you can tell by how they stand completely still and wait for her to trip them.

she's not that strong, the trainers can beat her if they wanted to, the whole thing was probably staged, trainers are able to judge the fitness level of their trainees and they can figure out she is not weak at all, just look at her calves, can't get those calf muscles without training, there's no way the trainers can't see something so obvious. there are just playing along because it's a show.

sparky No one was talking about Mayweather and he's irrelevant to the discussion they were having. They were talking about whether the trainer was stronger than her or not. Yes, she would break like a stick against Mayweather, but no one asked or stated anything relating to him.
@scarleteyes4155 жыл бұрын
I get the humor behind the prank that the girl becomes strong all of a sudden. But why is a Professional fighter going all out against a normal person? She could have showed him a few skills but she didn't need to beat him up, this is more like bullying than a prank.

It's called sparring, not fighting. The point is not to injure your training partner but to use only the necessary force. She's clearly stopping those high kicks and knee hits and not going through. Guys do sparring with women all the time. Even against other guys they are not trying to knock them out.

nah, they were trying. they try going for grapples and one goes for a kick and she counters with one to his stomach. i feel like yall internet dudes dont understand that throwing a punch opens you up and she was way better than them, so probably bopped them because they were just amateurs -- you see one of the dude throwing jabs, but keeping his face covered the whole time because he likely just got counterpunched by a professional and was spooked. women aren't as strong as men, but this is a muay thai champion vs. amateurs at a gym, not a street fight. and straight up, she wasn't being serious at all and its blatantly obvious. she was just fucking with them.
@rebaxbayushi5777 жыл бұрын
Not only that, there's also the surprise effect. Starting as a weak, untrained but almost motivated girl to a beast of a fighter in a second will mess with your head, you'll be stunned for a while. This video actually doesn't even show that some women can fight on an equal ground with some guys, it only show that surprise will help a lot in a fight. It's actually pathetic when you think about it.
@olimpicus7 жыл бұрын
yeah, if you start weak and against a female you will never want to attack her full strenght. I bet those guys prefered to get knocked out before fighting with her. Maybe if they had previously agreed to a full spar i'd believe it, but you can see they weren't really trying
