The fighters in 40K and Star Trek are huge, a Jem'Hadar fighter is 80 meters slightly bigger than a Fury Interceptor. Only in Star Wars and Halo do we have Starfighters the size of modern fighter jets.

Battlefleet gothic has definitely informed me about the power of these small ships. Swarms of bombers to cripple major targets. Intercepters to scout and take down bomber, torpedoes and boarding crafts. Swarms of assault boats to overwhelm anything at extreme ranges. Who cares if they die, i have more!

Would be pretty far in the backlog but a vid on the different infantry of the Navy might be pretty cool Armsmen can be so much more than just security guards with shotguns imo, theres been models on rogue trader armsmens and naval breachers and they all look nice Theres also been description of more elite naval units similar to scions and regimental stormtroopers Armsmens can also participate in away missions on far flung planets especially those working for rogue traders, soa few similarities with the red shirt of star trek

My favorite proxies are their Chaos counterparts, the Hellblade and Helltalon. Though in 9th edition, their Imperial counterparts had 40% less point value for almost their same exact fighter stats. It's probably worse now since the Hell fighters are now in Legends.

Tech-Priest I have a logical question. Is it Tech-Heresy to create Laser Bolters for Space Marines instead of the usual bullets (as logical proof there are already Plasma Guns)?

They have, they are lascannons. Laser weapons aren't good for fighting everything, especially against a numerous enemy. Not to mention limit of range, heating and energy required. Scouts have a smaller laser weapon but again, not for many targets. Not to mention most armour in 40k, specifically 30k that most enemies have energy weapons hence why cermite is marine armour and in general, most enemies will have reasonably good laser/heat absorbing material(especially if you can enter and exist Atmosphere) and so physical force is the better choice for smaller enemies, if the bolter doesn't penetrate then it will explode and the thing inside will be pulped.

But that’s really Vulkites? Or equivalent to them. You could home brew one chapter maybe. But bolters replaced them due to the upkeep. Tech has regressed from that point. But it’s only an opinion? You know more than I at this point I feel brother. So go with what you like. :).

"But that's nothing. Watch this." For a half hour, the large craft simply plods along straight as an arrow, not even so much as dipping the wings. After a while, the cargo pilot comes back on the radio and says, "So, what'd you think?" Jock: "What d'you mean? You didn't do anything. You just flew straight for a while." Cargo: "Oh no, that wasn't all. I got up, stretched my legs, got some coffee, and went to the bathroom..."

Heh, don't let words trip you up, remember, we are following a theme here. Dropped as in catapulted on the Z axis (down) as apposed to fired on "ahead" (be it prow, starboard, or fore). Bombs are on racks, and you can give them a good shove. Imagine a mag-lev style rail, your quite close, a good few seconds of thrust will do it. Explicitly stated or not, you're correct, just make up something. Again, don't let 2nd century -words- terms dictate your understanding of the 41st. I'm assuming this comment is in jest, poking fun at Star Wars (rightly!). This reply is not aimed to berate, only to inspire anyone who might be lacking in imagination. "The Rule of Cool" also has to apply. Given the insane speeds involved, by both craft, "dropping" something and hitting the other, without assistance, is far fetched, even something several KM long, just for starters.
