Bianca and Jade losing the titles is the right decision. They make all the other tag teams look bad in comparison, because of their star power. It didn't feel like they could be touched and losing it in a threeway was the best thing going forward imo.

If Drew McIntyre doesn't win a championship in his home country, where else does he win it? This was his spot. It made the most sense. It is very puzzling. That is where he would have gotten the most pop for winning it.

It's frustrating because I *do* understand it. WWE is a massive worldwide corporation with hundreds of millions of paying fans & customers: the whole of Scotland is only just over 5 million. From the WWE's perspective, Clash at the Castle was just another PLE, it just happened to be the 1st held in a particular country. From Scotland's perspective, this was Wrestlemania - bigger than Wrestlemania, because it was the first time in the 3/4 century of the WWE's existence it held an event here. Scotland's heartbreak just made good storytelling for the "bigger picture." I don't think US fans, or even wider UK fans, understand how small that makes us feel.

5 matches... it was mostly hot garbage. 4 of 5 matches with a trash ending. Bayley vs. Piper was awesome. Cody continues to not have any direction. Weird spots, especially with the cuffs. I get the Scotland moment Isla & Alba, but this is their 2nd TV win since last October... Jade had a rough night. I hope their plan is Bianca vs. Jade for Summerslam. I'm so done with Chad v Sami. Slow playing this quite awful. Just give me The Creeds with Gable already. Oh, you're making Otis a over babyface. Have him win MitB again. See how that goes. Piper continues to prove she's superior to Nia as a Juggernaut. Drew vs. Priest was great til it wasn't. Stop screwing the dude that kept WWE afloat during the pandemic. He didn't even get Tyson Fury karoke this time. Hopefully, Drew is enjoying his millions. I dont know if there's another moment like that for Drew again in his home country. Priest not being injured after that freak leg trapping would astound me... and then to have the match they had on the fly working in selling the leg. I hope he's not actually injured, Good stuff though. Im a Punk fan, and I hated this. I watch all 3 wwe products weekly, I have to take a break after this show. I'll give the Uncle Howdy group a shot, but if they dont come in, guns a blazing like The Shield did break time. 3.5-4/10. Half that's Bayley Piper half is the crowds fun chants. Also, Lucha Chelsea. Sorry if you read all this.

That was a disappointing PLE. It was obvious and predictable. Everyone knew CM Punk was going to interfere. They should have pulled a swerve. Bayley Vs. Doudrop, I get it was her come country, but they could have found a better opponent to make it a bigger match. Zayn and Gable feud is starting to go longer than it should. I was not impressed with this PLE. It could have been a lot better. The crowd was good.

This was our chance to have a truly historic, incredible event that few other nations get to enjoy. It's all perfectly understandable, but that doesn't make it any more palatable (certainly not to all the people who spent so much for tickets).
