His handspeed isn't even bad. He looks like he's going about average here,but as someone above posted, come fight night Cotto brings it. He is deceptively quick and possesses an all time great jab, maybe the best in the game next to Wlad's. The one key element I see Roach bringing back into his arsenal is the patented left hook downstairs, Cotto's sunday punch. At some point along his career(circa Pacquiao fight) Miguel abandoned going to the body and became more of a brawler/counter-puncher.

Funny how everyone said he lost his legs when he fought Cotto, then showed legs in the Guerrero fight, and now people say he ran.. And I bet you're one of those people. Floyd fought IN THE POCKET with a man with a 10lb advantage, and another with a 15lb advantage with Guerrero and Canelo respectively. He backed Canelo up a LOT in the fight. Stood in the pocket with BOTH fighters, and STILL couldn't get hit clean. Making World Class fighters look stupid. That's art. Give credit where it's due.

I'm not really a Canelo fan myself but I'm just telling you what I saw. Canelo was hyped up and I knew he would loose he just turned 23 a month before the fight. Mayweather had a ton more experience than Canelo and it played a huge factor in the fight. Still Canelo didn't look like Cotto or Gurrero all beaten down.

No. Canelo had 2 Bruised eyes. Canelo had a mouse in the 4th round, and was well on his way to getting stopped until Floyd hurt his elbow, assuming he got hurt by Canelo hitting it. Cotto actually took less damage than Canelo, but his face is like that, because he got his face battered with Cement. Your face doesn't heal from stuff like that. Look at his career before the first Margo fight. He took hits, and didn't swell up. Then look right after Margo 1. His face was done.
