Watching the Forest Giant's behavior from Insym's POV in this video (Rather than my own when I'm panicking) made me realize that they're probably inspired by Siren Head.. And that's pretty cool.

Yes! I play the game myself and read the lore articles for almost every creature. (I'm yet to scan a sand worm because I either die or am so thankful I didn't die that I don't think to scan lol) But I just never noticed how similar their basic behavior and stature is to Siren Head until now.

Hey Insym, tip for the eyeless dogs. If you need to get around them you can buy something cheap from the store. When the shuttle comes with its song it distracts them for the duration.

@@Nightshade1323 there is a split second image and the sound is the girls spawn in voiceline. She ends runs. She will not stop until she kills you and follows you outside the building. He died to her once earlier.

Dude, I lost my mind at the first run of March when he was literally next to the front exit (you can tell becuase you can always see the light from outside) with the loot and then proceeded to turn around, drop the loot and then get lost in the tunnel system. But then again, that's classic Insym, and it's one of the reasons I love these videos. Also, I'm convinced the octopus monster is Cthulhu.

This was a while ago so Insym knows this now, but for others who might not: The snare flea CAN kill you on solo. Just not when they first jump on your head. Theyll bring you down to critical health and jump off. If they jump on you a second time, then they kill you. However, if youre already critically i jured i think it glitched a bit but i believe this is already fixed at this point.

4:30 the 5 objects on the ship total 115, scan reveals 4 items worth approximately 260. Insym brings back 3, new ship total is 192, scan reveals 1 item worth 40. 🤔🤔 I knew the approx values were always too big but wow that's miles away 😂 Would be interesting to see more data on this, but for this one, anecdotal bit: 192-115=77. 220(approx value of the 3 items brought back)÷77=2.86. Seems like the real value is being approximated and then multiplied by 3

Being able to buy a med-kit would be pretty cool. They would have to find a way to balance it though, like maybe making it fairly expensive or something. Maybe on be able to buy 1 per quota or something? Idk, but I like the idea.

Speaking of the tzp inhalant; I think being basically blind is a brilliant trade for speed, reminds me of the boots of blinding speed from morrowind. You're right that it's maybe too expensive, it would be neat if it were cheaper so you could leave it by the entrance for if you stayed in the facility too long and need it to outrun things on the way back.

There is scaffolding on Assurance that has a ladder up to get on a rock, that goes to the pipe, that leads to the fire exit lol

There is a ladder for the assurance fire escape near the metal structure by the big rock in the middle of the map. You can jump from the top of that rock to the pipe, and walk from there to the fire exit

Another Strat I wanna test with Haunted Girl 3+ player party, the haunted player and non-haunted players work two ladders over a guard rail, and the haunted player walks between them. In theory, the path-finding AI Can't reach the player even if it can climb ladders can it walk on ladders and through a guard rail? Throwing two ladders over a guard rail overlapping in the shape of a V might allow a party to walk between them safely and not get attacked by girl. Maybe, it's a theory. Also if you run around the ship that might be dangerous with the little girl, worms, dogs, trees, baboonhawks, etc.

​@@michasokoowski6651Teleporters make you drop all your items before being teleported. The only caveat is there's a bug right now where picking up an item the same frame you teleport will let you keep it.

the voices, those "hey" voice actually happen in multiplayer too, but it uses your teams voices. I heard one of my friends say hey to me when i scream anyone else alive here only to figure out they were outside. A friend also heard my voice say hey back to them while i was dead.

I heard that same "hey" sound when I was playing with my friends on Titan, I thought it was one of them and the sound came from the fire exit, I assumed they were trying to find me and then left so I went out to tell them I'm alive and instantly got grabbed by a giant, they were all dead laughing at me and I was the last one alive, then they called me insane when I said I heard someone talking to me.

Offense has a ladder connected to the scaffold that you can climb that allows you to jump onto the piping that leads to the fire escape!

It is possible to Jebait the dogs. I had a couple with a friend and we figured only one of us could return to the ship on offense. So we drew them in at one side of the main entrance making noise and aggroed them. My friend left and I remained... When it was 8pm I knew there was no real choice. I had to make a move. So I jumped down, Ran a little and then crouched and walked 90 degrees in the direction they came from. From that experience I figure to control the floor you can make noise 3 metres or further away to jebait them. Any less than 3 meters is pretty much suicide. I even did it on the ship, hid behind a cabinet, and did not die. However, when it was leaving, it immediately turned to my friend and ate them even though there was no noise.

I've heard that the radar booster can lure dogs to it if you ping it. The caveat is that you have to be on the ship to ping it, but maybe if it's far enough it can clear a path. Might even lure giants, but i dont know.

on Titan, right after u exit the facility, stop using the ladder to go down those small stairs... with the last item. Just drop down, you will not take any dmg :P

Why do you fear the Bracken that much? Just jump on a rail, wait for him to try to kill you and use that chance to kill him instead.

The bracken can reach you on railings unless you back up to the very edge tmk, not to mention it can instakill - though killing it is definitely a good option if you can manage to get it close safely

I'm sorry if I'm the only one, but I really dislike MP in general in YT videos. Only edited highlights with subtitles (you know which ones I mean) are worth watching of that stuff. I'm watching you for your content. But that's MY opinion, in which yours may differ and Insym might enjoy MP more. I just mention it for the preference to be known. I didn't catch on the LC hype, but I'm happy I waited for the solo content at least :)

@@MeoCulpa Except some of the mods he listed don't even exist lmao, that or he's named them wrong (which is about as useful when you're trying to look for them). "Hotbar+" should be "HotbarPlus" "LC Enhanced" - Not even sure what this one should be as I can't find any mods by that name. I can only guess he meant "Augmented Enhancer" and I'm only basing that guess on it having a similar 'coin flip' feature for scrap loss. "FasterDropPod" - Again, no mod by this name exists. My best guess is "FasterItemDropship" because it's the only mod I could find that actually makes the item deliveries arrive faster. Literally the only one he actually got right was FlashlightToggle.

Same honestly, my paranoia is really bad. The game isn't even wrong for labeling me that. My ears just take every noise I didnt make as BRACKEN. If the bracken doesn't, i break my own making sure it never has the chance. But I am a victim of hearing the "hello" or "hey" randomly. Never been attacked by the girl yet. YET.
