I’m not going to respond to anyone. However, I can confirm that I trained Henry Frances for his last fight, which was scheduled in June. He trained alongside two of my toughest pro fighters, and the training was hard and intense. At 61 years old, Henry moved and sparred like a young, seasoned pro. It was amazing to witness how tough and agile he was! He was fighting for his honor and his family. Henry is a good man. In life, you have your ups and downs, but I have great respect for the traveling community, where I’ve met many of the heads of the main families-honorable men like Henry. There’s no need for any negative comments. There’s enough of that nonsense in the world. Well done, Dodge, on an excellent interview with Henry! Best, Yaqub

Same as and hes completely different to how I imagined...he doesn't even sound or look like a lot of gypsies do, if I didn't see the title I would just assume he's a hard bloke from the north , weirdly enough he looked very old for his age in the pic in bartleys book but he looks decent for his age here especially for the hard life he's had, you can hear little glimpses of the stutter Bartley talked about too... Also didn't think he would of been on a podcast or possibly even still alive

Very interesting. He’s a gent. In Ireland years ago, probably UK also, we had faction fights, the days the blackthorn we called it, Ryan’s and Dwyers vs Coffeys and whoever else. Some real tear ups…stick fighting and bare knuckle, with the blackthorn sticks. There was a very famous one in Kerry on a beach in about 1828, the Lanes vs the McCartheys or something, a few lads were killed. These weren’t traveller fights, but there were probably some traveler's involved, people in those days more or less lived the same way anyway.
