I was at a party in milton keynes back in the 90s, me and my mates were miss behaving when someone picked me up around the hips and chucked me up through the ceiling tiles, i remember seeing wires and pipes up there. Expecting to get a hiding the bloke carried me outside and plonked me down on the path and said " go home and stop being naughty" that was Norman Buckland! Absolute animal but an absolute Diamond

I'd never heard of Norman before , and in the thumbnail I thought he was DC, but I am glad I watched this because Norman seems a lovely man who had a tough start in life so ended up cutting capers but clearly he has a heart of gold. You interviewing style is incredibly professional Dodge. You allow enough time for stories to develop but know just when to wind your interviewees back and is not a lot different to someone like Michael Parkinson. Best thing is that, unlike some, you are not starry eyed and kissing the backsides of these guys. I'm thoroughly enjoying the series and one recurring theme that always makes me wonder is if these chaps had had better upbringings and better parenting where might they have ended up in life and what might they have achieved without the use of violence and dishonesty. Looking forward to the next one mate. All the best.

This was such a top interview. I could listen to this man for hours on end because he is just so open, honest and likeable but ultimately a very dangerous man in a straightner back in the day I bet. And although you had to prompt him a few times to keep him on track in this interview, you conducted the chat so well. Few people ask a question and let the other person actually answer but on the whole you let Norman talk and just guided him as and when needed. A proper old school, old morals & ethics face from times gone past !!!! I hope he stays healthy and continues to live life with nothing but good things happening to him. His wife will make sure he stays in his own lane because he obviously worships her. Please bring him back for another installment.

For all his aggression, gameness and the right handers he threw (to the body mainly it seems) he was just too humble and too nice in real life to be in the class of Lenny Mclean however Norman is someone I would not face in the ring unless I was heavily armed 🤣 All the best Norman. I remember Bedgrove Pavillion discos 😂😂...... Norman must remember Smiffy, Danny's friend... he was my best mate from the age of 5. We used to spend all summer on his farm, riding the ponies, and drive his dad's minivan through the fields and crashing through the gates. Great memories.... bird nesting, haymaking, messing about on the canal, hanging about in the massive chicken shed. Smiffy's dad had a massive fruit cart all painted up....they were fruitiers too..... Smiffy used to call for me on his pony and leave it in the front garden so he could come in and see my mum. 😂😂 Miss those times.

I remember when norm worked up the road from me at the agora Wolverton and was known as Norman the doorman and he always had time for a chat and was a lovely character but you also knew that if you upset him by being an idiot to him or others you would know about it! Love to Norman ❤️💪❤️💪👍👌
