@@Bossix84 I doubt it. A good looking game generally ages well. Metal Gear Solid 2 was extremely solid (no pun intended) on its technical aspect when it was released in 2001, 19 years later I can assure you it still holds well, having played it recently through emulationr. Same goes for God of War 2 which is simply incredible. RDR 2 is quite on another level so i'm sure even in 20 years it will still look good.

Ah, I remember this one. I think its main problem was that there just wasn't really much difference between a vast majority of the enemies you fought, and most stages just had you fighting the same enemy class (or maybe two or three) throughout any given one. I do like how the stages twisted and turned a fair bit more than your average brawler, and I like how the environments would actually play into a couple of stages - and how they'd reward you a bit for either beating the hell out of the environment or getting creative in regards to obtaining weapons from it; I just wish that they put a little of that creativity into the enemies' move sets. And holy HELL did some of the one-screen arena stages not need to be as abusively long as they were. Lookin' at you, Island Lift, and it's a look of derision. >:3
@yellowblanka60586 жыл бұрын
Yeah, even by beat-em-up standards the enemies look incredibly samey. Not to mention, the actual combat looks very clunky and slow, games like Streets of Rage 2 were great because of the fluid animation and movement, smooth combos etc.

Fun fact: this game was originally being developed by Sega as Streets of Rage 4, and was to be a Saturn exclusive. But for some reason halfway into development, Sega decided to basically kill off the entire franchise. They sold their unfinished game to Eidos who created new characters and thus Fighting Force was born. Streets of Rage 4 didn't end up seeing the light of day until 2021, but it is a MUST play if you haven't already.

I wish they remastered the original fighting force (this one) it would be so dope to play but then again it would never compare to the OG version / PS1 graphics, this was such a great game. It's a shame there wasn't much lore to it or much of a build up of campaign like how Spyro had but it was a great game none-the-less, if any employees who worked on this game see this, thank you for making my childhood fun, back when life was simple

I’ve been looking for this game for years! I played it once when I was a kid at a daycare and never saw it again. The soda machine mechanic really stuck with me. Glad the game found me instead. Thanks for the video!

If you didn't know: Originally this was supposed to be Streets of Rage 4 but deal fell apart.

It was developed as "Judgement Force" for SEGA Saturn, but SEGA wanted it to be Streets of Rage 3D. Deal fell though and it was released for all platforms except the Saturn, now called "Fighting Force".
