Fighting Force (PSX) Speedrun (Hawk - Easy) in

Gosh dang it. I wasn't lying about it last time, and I finally did it. Under 30. I can now finally die.
It wasn't the best run possible, since I have gotten 29:17, and I also thought that the amazing Lift level would boost me to....around 29 straight, but hey. Better than nothing.
This was probably the last speedrun of this game for now, I won't have time/equipment/reason to do any more. I might make a tribute video and retire happily, but who knows. "The only thing that's for sure about me is.....nothing's for sure."
For now, enjoy the run. Have fun.
PS: If the audio sounds muffled, it's not your stereo. I lowered the volume of this video to around 15 %, because it was so loud, I have no idea why. But I do apologize.

Real nice speed run, thanks for sharing your glitches on your previous video too, this was my favorite ps1 game as a kid and I have started playing it again on emulator!

I just thought it deserved some kind of recognition, since in my mind, it's a pinnacle of PS1 gaming, up there, with Crash Bandicoot, Gran Turismo, those games. Hope you are having fun with it again :) And of course, thanks for the feedback.

In order to get it under 30 minutes, I had to gun it like all the time, it's stressful. I have aged a few years thanks to speedrunning, for sure.

man that was really smooth, i don't remember being able to knock down exo with special atack. can it only be done on easy or normal too?

You can take him down, but you can't cheese the whole boss fight with the special, you'd run out of health. On normal, it's better to grab him, not let go and use kicks, or, get him on on the ground and stunlock him while he's down - knocking him down and endlessly kicking him before he gets up, the transition from knocking him down to attacking him on the ground must be quick, otherwise he'll get up, and he has invincibility while getting up.
