Yeah, I think in chapter 1 we actually look more normal and on equal level to her, especially when we're both standing. In Adversary, we look more burly as shown from her POV.

A fun thing that might help to get specific routes in the future, so you won't stumble onto same ones: in the gallery they're very cleverly sorted. Some ch3 princesses you can get from 2 different ch2 ones that are shown side by side. Example: Specter leads to Dragon and Wraith, but you can also get Wraith from Nightmare, who has her own ch3 - Clarity. Beast leads to Den and Wild, but you can get Wild from a different one that you haven't seen yet. Each ch2 princess has 2 outcomes except Razor and Stranger, who are placed to even out the splitting branches for others. Hope this helps with hunting

Actually Razor does have two outcomes, both of which are only different in the chapter titles, the main voice we get, whether or not we have the blade and the overall outcome. And, with the exception of Stranger (only ch2 outcome) and Razor (explained above) all ch2 princesses have 3 outcomes: 2 third chapters that can be obtained via various methods and a chapter 2 ending. Some, like Damsel and Prisoner actually have 4, with 2 ch2 endings. Also the one he hasn't gotten yet is the... >:3 one.

It's pretty funny to me that it took you till your 14th loop to get the Adversary, since I feel like she's a very "core" route, so to speak. It feels very much like one of the first things the developers came up with, and the way it is written makes me think it might have been the first one to be started and finished writing. And its themes are very close to the core of the game. It's very 'iconically' StP imo.

In the original demo she was called The Fury and had Broken as the associate voice but as the game developed, they split her into Tower and Adversary and gave the name Fury to their 3rd chapters. And of course they added Stubborn who was loosely reworked from Obsessed from the demo Beast.

@reubensalter8125 I've only seen a couple of development things, which is why I presented these as assumptions, so thanks for the info. But I'm surprised that Stubborn wasn't originally there, considering how crucial he is to the route, and arguably the game and its themes at large.

I agree, I feel like in the minimal things I'd seen regarding the game in terms of marketing and fan images, the Adversary was one of the most prominent ones. She, Damsel, and maybe Witch felt like the most iconic characters. And you're right, Adversary does contain a lot of themes that feel very in-line with what StP is trying to say.

Actually I think it's implied it's all LQ, especially since our perception shapes it - it's our perception that causes her influence to spread.
