I find it interesting that Peter is a rare example of having appropriately proportioned hands and feet- especially compared to RYu whose gloved hands are large enough to crush Peter's skull.

Large hands and feet are common for the other characters since you'll be fighting them more often in actual matches and it's to help the playet identify what attacks are coming at a glance. Peter is a slow as shit NPC who only shows up for the story mode that isn't meant to be hard to react to like other characters with faster normals and bigger hitboxes.

I think it's a seriously cool idea for fighting game designers to intentionally design characters that are under-powered for canonical reasons (Sean in SF 3rd Strike for example). It reinforces the idea that most of the characters in the game are essentially superhuman which makes the player feel more powerful even when they aren't picking exclusively top-tier characters. It's fun to play these characters because you get bragging rights if you win, and it's not obnoxious playing against them because obviously they are objectively less powerful. Win-win. In other words, Peter for SF6

Can you do Smash Ultimate Giga Bowser? You mentioned that Peter’s c.MP is a move that he can do, but that’s honestly more than you can say for Giga Bowser, who literally doesn’t have a Down Tilt. Edit: If you do decide to do this, note that: - He also has no Grab, Nair, Dair, Shield, or any of the running statuses, Dash Attack included (and can’t pick up items/get footstooled, misc stuff like that) - iirc he can’t backdash - Jump squat is like 24 frames - Garbage ledge snapping - Can’t be grabbed which is a benefit ig - And is surprisingly bad at killing Also not that it matters but he has effect scripts for all of those moves I mentioned that he doesn’t have
