I haven’t even had a chance to finish this video yet, Sonia but I couldn’t go any further without letting you know that even though you’re hard on yourself you have true fans here (ME!) who love everything you make and offer just the way you offer them !!! I know perfectionism is loud in your head but hopefully this comment will be loud as well 🙏🏽❤️

Thank you so much for blessing our days with your content and making such beautiful art! I am obsessed with your art. Lots of love

Oh my gosh, so exciting that you're making sketchbooks!! I loved the spread you made in it, as well as your planner spread. I've been wanting to go for a scrapbooking type look in my sketchbooks too, so this is very inspirational! I can relate to not wanting to start or finish things because you feel like it won't be perfect or good enough. I definitely struggle with that too. We are our own worst critics! Your outlook on what sketchbooks are for is motivating and makes me want to draw in mine more.

You're right, the only one worrying or disliking our creations are probably we ourselves:DD I'm so glad in a way to hear that everyone struggles with this (sounds weird since I don't wish this on anyone but misery loves company I guess haha)

I love your videos and miss your vlogs! They are so cozy and it's so fun getting to see your process for your art and running your business. I totally understand the struggle with perfectionism though, I struggle with that too. You aren't alone! You look beautiful without makeup, by the way! ❤️

I was attracted to this video by the beautiful floral image…..but the real clincher were the words “fighting perfectionism!” I hear you! Lifelong crippling disorder in some way. Thank you for this video and you are an inspiration to us all!

Yes, it carries through in almost all parts of life, some more and others less! Maybe we can also apply some of these revelations in other ways too!^^

Your sketchbook looks lovely, it's a really nice design (and green is the best colour 😁). I'm a perfectionist too but I also wholeheartedly believe there is no such thing as perfect. I have a theory that if it was possible to have a perfect day, with a perfect idea, and create a perfect piece of art - you'd look at it a year later and somehow it wouldn't be perfect anymore because of how we change our thoughts and feelings all the time. It would only have been perfect for a very short time.
@soniastegemann19233 жыл бұрын
I agree! I also have it both ways, drawings I really liked can turn ugly to me as well as art that I hated back in the day can grow on me if that makes sense:D

I don't comment often but i feel like now i really wan't to say something :) I've just seen the first thee minutes of this vlog and felt the need to comment right away... First: You are beautiful!! With or without make up, you are gorgeous! Not only from the outside but you seem to also be such a kind and caring person! Don't ever think you are not beautiful in any way! Second: I looove your vlogs, actually everything you post. I was so excited to see a new one that i immediately had to see it. Vlogs with beautiful videography or B-Roll or "interesting" Content (whatever that means ;)) are nice aswell, but i actually really like the "not perfect" style in a video, it seems more authentic and it feels like i'am watching a friend and not a show on tv.. It's just more personal and thats why i love them :) Thank you so much for taking the time to produce this content and please carry on just beeing yourself and post your lovely content, i am always excited to see new videos of you! :)

Wow I don't even know what to say, thank you so much for your sweet comment!!! ;_; And thank you for building me up like this!! I personally also really enjoy the more chaotic or simple and natural vlogs of smaller artists so why not also just make what comes natural!^^

Oh no, please don't think, that your vlogs are not exciting enough! It is the opposite way: For me YOUR vlogs are the most exciting ones and I wish some others would create better ones as well. Because I love to watch them. You are really one of my favorite when it comes to vlogs! You are amazing and the stuff you do is amazing too!

my love, let me just tell you that i think you are amazing. and you know i always look up to you. i think it would be so great for you to tell yourself 3 things youre proud of or love about yourself every day! to try and quieten that negative voice. you are too hard on yourself. and from the outside looking in, i just think you have so many wonderful qualities to appreciate about yourself

I can completely relate, I do much better with digital art rather than traditional and I can be a perfectionist as well, yet I tend to want to have an enjoyable sketchbook as well Like the sketchbook vids I always see! ~

I really do understand the struggle of being afraid of trying something new. That's holding me back from learning so much and experimenting. And honestly it's weird how I wasn't that preoccupied about this at the beginning. 🤨🤔 The better I got, the more I was afraid of making mistakes. 😓
@soniastegemann19233 жыл бұрын
This!!! Omg yes, I used to just try and do things, create characters without worrying what other people would think of them and just keep a sketchbook for myself with ugly drawings and quick idea doodles! Maybe this comes from being on social media a lot and being exposed to beautiful art a lot as well as feeling the need to post everything!

Also erstmal: Du bist super hübsch mit und ohne Makeup!! Aber wenn du wirklich mal was auftragen willst, was verträglich für empfindliche Haut ist, würde ich dir wärmstens Marry Kay empfehlen. Die Prudukte sind allesamt ohne Parfüme. Und übriges auch nur bei Menschen getestet. Keine Tierversuche.
@soniastegemann19233 жыл бұрын
Aw danke dir!
