You can also block up and down as well. So the opponent can do a swipe kick or a high kick. You need to anticipate and block those. Swipe kicks are more telegraphed if they hold it. so more than likely they will do a high kick combo. Have not played sparking zero yet but I come from tenkaichi and that was the easiest way to break someone blocking. Can't wait to play it tomorrow.

It seems like a lot of people aren't really familiar with the step-in combos from BT3 that are still in this game; I hope to see more people start using them to get a more competitive or at least more complex scene. I feel like step in square and sometimes triangle depending on the scenario is like the bnb for this franchise, so it's probably only a matter of time until people start catching on.

I think the key is to min max defense because as far as i'm concerned, there's no such thing as a true combo in this game. Best way to get dmg is supers and ults. As for unblockable attacks, watch the borders of the screen for impacts lines. If there's impact lines during the startup animation then you can't block and vice versa

I even encountered a cheater who had infinite ultimate. Once I get my 100 matches done for the trophy I'm just sticking to the story. smh
