@ Well I can answer that very very very very easily because if you played AC Valhalla you'd know that Basim is alive and was reawakened in modern day and took over from Layla as the modern day protaganist. He is literally a reincarnation of an Isu god, he doesn't age and isu tech kept him alive. We literally play as him and he can interact with Shaun, Rebecca and William. That's how we see his memories because it's literally his dna.
