College football is a far flung endeavor especially now. Going from Lincoln to State College is a 1000+ mile road trip for 2 ranked legacy teams. Champaign is essentially in the middle. Nebraska was a good test.

NU hasn’t been able to put together a solid 2nd half all year. Illinois tried really hard to loose this game, but NU would not let them. Illinois isn’t really that good. The killer instinct isn’t there. Maybe NU isn’t that good either… 🤔 ☠️
