Absolutely agree and big reason he never got the recognition with UFC is cause Dana White is a trash promoter and can only promote circus clowns and DJ isn’t that lol I think he easily could’ve been promoted a lot better as he’s truly genuine humble and he lets his fighting in the cage do the talking for him! I believe ONE Championship is doing a great job promoting him and believe he’s gaining more popularity and recognition fighting with ONE then he ever got in the UFC smh I think his mixed rules fight against Rodtang was truly something special to watch and his rivalry with Adriano Moraes(who is better then any 135lb fighter in the UFC imo) is phenomenal

I think the boxer Demetrious was referring to was either Joe Calzaghe or Jack Dempsey. A great example of that technique was Roy Jones Jr. vs Calzaghe back in the day. Great content! If Demetrious Johnson was a boxer he would be much like Marvin Hagler I think. I see a lot of similar techniques they share.

The kind of legacy this one man has built in fighting. It actually gives me chills. And he didn’t brag like triple C. I just know what He has accomplished and when I see him. I think this is a bad bad man. Even though he is always smiling and happy and a good parent. I think don’t mess with that guy. The guy is a true true legend. Greatness mixed with kindness and true humility. The philosophy is next level - Dana just could not understand it.

Sorry but the Rock isn't going to let Demetrious do any of that. We saw what happened with Shane and Juji and the Rock is double Demetrious's weight and over a foot taller. It's over for him if he tries to go up against a WWE wrestler with any kind of turtling or grappling. He'd have better odds if he went for an organ shot or a KO. The disparity is too great IMO and he's too small that the Rock would just toss him around like a toy.
