Canelo plants his front foot flat and is on his rear toes when he throws it. You're kinda doing the opposite.

if the person i am versing plays aggressive, then i just try to block the moves when they attacking then i throw some kicks and body shots. If they dont stop i just spar hard as well to even it out

1. Don’t throw wild punches that miss and waste valuable oxygen. Don’t try to throw KO punches from a distance. 2. Protect your face at all times no matter how much weight advantage you have. Bare knuckles can mass you up way more than boxing gloves. 3. Wait for them to come to you first. Counter attacks work better than first attacks if you’re heavier. 4. Wait until you’re close and just kinda push them off balance with your fists. Even just hitting a lighter guys arm will knock them around. When they drop their hands to regain balance is when you attack with everything.

About for the ppl who just throw hands & wrestle??

That's part of the reason why tkd pads are an extension rather than armor. And the body pads to practice body kicks are like 8 inches thick and is a giant supple wall. They also put strong emphasis on proper form when holding those big pads. Different forms for different kicks, regular roundhouse versus a back kick.

Wow.. you do NOT have to be at a "dog park" for off-leash dogs to attack you. I'm a runner, and I run over trails and fields of grass. People let their dogs off-leash all the time. You do NOT have to travel overseas to see that. It's absolutely EVERYWHERE here in the United States. I've been charged 7 times now by off-leash dogs. While running. The owners most often are far off in the distance. They don't say a word. And they don't bother to come to my help. Ever. I've ESCAPED my own death, 7 times now, by FACING the dog EYE TO EYE and screaming at them in Spanish. My native language. In the angriest, scariest way possible. The dogs have retreated in fear. Back to their owner. All 7 times. This includes a pit bull and pit bull mix dogs. The idea to not make eye contact would have gotten me KILLED. The advice to not make eye contact is absurd. You've got a dog CHARGING you. Barking and roaring like a demon. And I'm supposed to act "passive" in front of my imminent death?? Seriously?!! That would have gotten me killed. 7 times over. I'm in the position I now have to carry self defense things to protect my own life. Because people don't give a s* if a dog rips a runner apart. They will wail for their dog though.

I just noticed something you know when avoided the oblique kick the way he did you see when he went for the oblique kick he was relying on one leg for balance so you see what I would’ve done is I would move out the way the way he did but instead of punching opponent I would kick the other leg because the opponent is focused on the oblique kick so by kicking the other leg he would trip to the ground giving you enough time to escape or run

This is facts. I hold pads 2 hrs a day every day 6x a week, and it took a lot of refining my diet and self care regimen to feel like im building up my body instead of breaking it down. Thai oil and a run before training, acupressure mat and sauna after, and at least an hour of stretching per day. Also buy some quality pads that don’t have the stuffing kicked out.
