When I first found out about the Black Rock Shooter Figma line, the only ones I actually liked were the TV Animation and Game versions. But now that I've watched this review, I'm now absolutely in love with the Insane version. The way she looks holding the cannon and the sword just looks amazing and her hair is just awesome. Too bad this is way too expensive. I'll just get the TV Animation version.

Cr33p3rKid You know they aren't that expensive on eBay. But I wouldn't say eBay is that trustworthy. So if you order it from there comes a risk from not being at it's best state.

Man, seeing the prototype got me excited until I found out it was bundled in a DVD set and costing around $200. I lost all hope getting this one considering it was my favorite version of BRS. Oh well, might as well add it to my never-ever list..

Awesome! Well I picked up the OVA BRS since it looked really interesting without any relation to the Vocaloid song that she had and things like that and the OVA DVD was a nice extra pretty much.

I completely understand about the big toy review. :) I usually avoid doing them too because it will take more then 15 minutes for the video. As for Racing Miku. That outfit is one of my most favorite as for the BMW, I really could care less haha~ Opposite effect~ Btw, do you like any of the S.H. Figurarts Dragonball Z Kai action figures? Are those worth trying out? I'm debating over Perfect Cell, Trunks, and Super Saiyan Vegeta.

I see... hmmm.. I never saw the Anime Tiger & Bunny actually. However, I grew up watching DBZ so, it is definitely a much easy sell if I had watched. Currently I'm only have enough time to watch TF PRIME season 2 and TMNT 2012 series. Next I'm getting ready to watch Gundam 00 season 2 and Awakening of the Trailblazer after. I never new the italian version was only $80. Unfortunally, some jackasses bought all the cheaper italian versions and sell it for the same amount as the regular version on ebay.

I love this figma, but before the figma I love the anime, so I guess for me buying the Japanese BD Boxset is justified, even more so that it has English subtitles (meaning the BD didn't collect dust because I've watched it and will be re-watched again from time to time), also lets not forget the awesome soundtrack CD and the other goodies XD

...I am correct, because It sounds to me like you are just assuming instead of actually following the prices of the figures.Which is why you prefer to use the old manufacturing cost because you don't actually know how much they are worth now.And I've heard people pay around 2000 yen for EMS and 4000 yen for SAL from those types of places.

Miku Append was actually the cheapest figma I bought off ebay for like $26 free shipping. (authentic not fake) And I got really lucky with Strength, because they was someone from hong kung selling it and people assumed it was fake because it was at a low bid, but the seller told me is was and authentic on from their personal collection.So no one bidded on it and I got it new for less than $30 free shipping.Much better than the $50 everyone else was selling it for....

Yes, personally I think most figma's are pricey for what tiny figures they are. But I don't think $80 is a high price for that particular figma considering it does come with something else and I've seen figmas that start at around $80 when they are released and come with nothing extra, like the Mato one I mentioned.

However, I understand how a person might have thier own personal preference for which BRS design a person prefers, but I don't understand how you can compared this version to the being a "sidekick" in KH's Halloween town; She deserves much more credit than that. If anything the Insane version makes the original version look like the sidekick. If BRSInsane was Batman, I see BRS as being Robin. I never understood the shorts and the bikini top as an outfit for such a bad ass character....

...I think having the armor on the character makes more sense. In my opinion BRSBeast and BRSInsane looks better than the origional which is why I never purchased the origninal. However, they did impove on the original BRS design when they made the TV version of it. I wouldn't mind having the TV version of the original chracter, but I don't really care for the OVA original version or The Game version.

I've been following prices of figures on ebay for a long time and I've summed up how much they are worth. I've seen people who low ball themselves. I've seen people charge way to much and I've seen people who pay the price it is actually worth today, which is not alway cheap. I know you want to use the manufacturing cost but it seems really silly to say something is worth only $40 when it hasn't been worth that much since the year or month it was first released.

Incorrect. A USED black gold saw is $80 as I said. You cannot get a used Black Gold Saw for $50, that's nonsense. Go and show me where you can find a Black Gold Saw for $50.And there is a consistancy to it. The price only goes up, never down. BGS has been $80 used for at least a year or two now and $100 new.Nothing has changed....

I judge figures based on how much they are actually worth now. And that is how much she has been worth for a long time now. That $30-40 only applies to people who actually live in japan. Who don't have to pay for the ridiculous shipping.Even if it is at that price on websites like Ami Ami, the shipping is what is going to cost you. Sometimes more that what the figure is worth. Which is why I don't buy from those websites. So most new figures on Ebay start at $45-60

Good things come when you wait and take the time to look for deals instead of going directly to the big named figure websites. Ebay are the best place to come across deals like this because is is usually people selling it rather than companies- hence why the are alot of people alway shopping on it; for the deals they come across.

Just because YOU paided $8 doesn't mean everyone pays $8. I am telling you what others have said. I beg the differ. I do in fact believe you pay more. You can always find better deals than buying off website like that. Like I said I got lucky and got Strength for LESS than $30. You are not going to get a price like that from Ami Ami. There is no arguement you are paying more. I also just got both Saber Zero figma and Ex:ride motored Cuirassier for less than $75 and that is including shipping....

Stop using Manufacturing price as your guide. No one gets it for thoes prices once they sell off the sits. And they sell fast. Duh, that is because you were actually IN Japan. Of, course they are going to be cheaper. Ebay is not always the most expensive. That shows you never actually shop on Ebay therefore you know nothing about the prices. You have to be patient and wait for deals to come. If you are one of those silly ones who know absolutely nothing about how much the figure is worth and...
