Figma to Webflow Plugin: Should you use it?

Relume does a class sync switch on their extension. Set that, and you can repaste the same section 20x and it won't make it section 1,2,3,4, etc.That was a huge selling point for me! They also have an extensive Figma library to set up wireframes with. To top if all off you get the Client First class naming convention all included. Now, I'm just hoping that WF will open the tool up to Finsweet or that FS will make their own tool to bring stuff over. Will be interesting to see!

Hello, thank you for your video. I have a question. I am trying to copy original main page from file .ig but button (copy to Webflow is not active.) until I on main page starting to choose each element separately. What would would be a reason I can not do same like you suggesting?

Mark my word: Adobe will have their own Online Builder in the next 5 years and Figma will be merged with XD and you will be able to publish your designs to the web, all done in Adobe!

They won't. Dreamweaver and Muse failed and Webflow succeeded for a reason. Also, XD is already out. You can't find it in creative cloud or the product page. Again, failed. Adobe apps are slow af and clunky user interface. Adobe should just focus on their hot garbage and let companies like Webflow and Framer pave the wave for real website builders.

Yeah it's the issue I'm having. For pre made designs without auto layout, it's next to useless. But if you wanna quick build sites that are simple with the plugin pre built structures it's pretty cool

i think it sets a really solid starting point, you can save the first few hours of setting up the basic layout etc, then dig in into the more complex things right in webflow

Great video thanks. I use adobe cc and have just done a webflow course and built a site. However, going forward I want to learn either xd or figma and was going to go with xd as I already have adobe cc, until I heard about this plugin. Thought maybe this means i should learn figma. After your vid though, I'm thinking maybe I'll stick to my original plan of learning xd. What are your thoughts?

Thank you 😊 I have personally switched to figma recently over xd. My issues with this plugin aren’t the fault of figma just the nature of how it’s integrated with webflow. Adobe now owns figma too so I’m not quite sure what that means for the future of each tool!

Yes in theory. Although Webflow is a great way of building a website mostly with no extensive coding knowledge required. Learning a little certainly helps though 👍🏻
