Jared, the base body in red is the feature that does sell this figure. The sculpt is more evident. Grey scale usually is one of the best ways to traditionally see detail. I felt the same way about the rogue derelict last Ronin figure. That is why I purchased him instead of the first release. I also liked the neutral head that came with him as well. For this Red Death I did purchase the original. You have given me insight I may use to add the retailer exclusive to my collection. ✌️
