I personally disagree with most points here; never was a fan of the articulation topic, 99% of Bandai figures have the similar points and aren't expressive. I don't think the size is really a negative thing, it does pop out quite a bit, but for a figure as rare and "different" as Kong, I love seeing him stick out. Plus, he goes nicely with the other vintage 8 inch figures like Gorosaurus, Baragon, and Rodan! Was a fun video though, keep it up!

I think the ymsf Kong is slightly more affordable. Every now and again it'll be on sale on the official Instagram page, and even on ebay, the average prices I see are lower than the Bandai's.

Actually the paint job that is traditional for the bandai figure is really wrong, the actual color of Kong in 62 was brown fur with a grayish ashy skin, look at movie stills and you will see, he is not brown or tan skinned, the Raymundo figure is the most realistic.

I feel like YMSF has to be a difficult company to tackle for figure fights, considering the inconsistencies. For instance, when it comes to paint jobs YMSF figures are often released in a bunch of different paint jobs with small quantities of each of them, meaning the point on paint could vary dramatically depending on which Kong release you can track down. And on that, its difficult to just buy a YMSF figure without being in the know of how to get one. They tend to pop up infrequently on eBay to begin with, and even then who knows if they have the paint job you want. I just cant recommend a YMSF figure over a Bandai figure for that reason. I also feel like the point on articulation here is invalid. "Raymond has the better articulation" is subjective, and it objectively has less articulation, so for the sake of keeping things objective for a review, I'd say that point also goes to Bandai.
