I know the paint is quite questionable, especially in the face, but the articulation is pretty much carrying this figure, (minus the head) Ediiit: the sculpt is good too, I think the paint is bringing it down though.

I'm waiting until I can see a side-by-side of both the SHMA and Hiya Toys versions before I even consider picking one up. This goes both for Shimo as well. Currently I'm leaning toward SHMA for Godzilla and Hiya for Shimo, but we will see... we will see.

I did the same with Goji and Ghidorah. Got the SH 2024 pre evolved posed up with the gravity beam version Ghidorah. I do have a Hiya goji but I feel he's to large in scale to Ghidorah yknow

The sculpt is good, the paint is mid. Most of the time it’s the other way, if you choose shma you get jumped by hiya stans but it goes both ways tbh.
