These Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles commercials are funny seeing Barney's disguises and seeing his disguises falling off with Fred coming after him for stealing his Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles but, it always made me wonder if Barney wants a bowl of Fruity or Cocoa Pebbles, why couldn't he just ask Fred for some or go buy his own? Fred is also his best friend and if Barney said "hey Fred, could I have a bowl of Fruity or Cocoa Pebbles?" where Fred would most likely say, "sure pal here, help yourself" while handing the box to Barney where Fred wouldn't have to think he was being robbed of his own Fruity or Cocoa Pebbles cereal.

(If they made a commercial to promote Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory in 1971, here's an idea I came up with for Cocoa Pebbles) Barney: (Showing up at Fred's house dressed as Willy Wonka with Dino dressed as an Oompa-Loompa) Watch me trick Fred. Fred: (Sees his disguise, falling for it as usual) Willy Wonka! An honor, sir. Barney: Thank you, but I need something super chocolatey to get inspiration for candy-making. Fred: (Thinks about it and hands him his bowl of Cocoa Pebbles) Well, how about you try a taste of my Cocoa Pebbles? That might help. Barney: Okay. (Eats a spoonful of the cereal) Mmm! Scrumdiddlyumptiously chocolatey! Fred: (Sees Dino's Oompa-Loompa disguise) Oh, look! An Oompa-Loompa! Care to dance? (He nods fast, which causes his green wig to fall off and Fred knows the truth) Dino? (Snatches Barney's top-hat) BARNEY, MY PEBBLES!!! Barney: (Running off with the cereal starting a chase with a joke) They're my Golden Ticket outta here! Announcer: (Showing the display of breakfast items with the Pebbles cereal included) Post Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles cereal, a Yabba-Dabba-Delicious part of this nutritious breakfast. (Shows the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory title onscreen) Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, now playing. (Well? What do you guys think? Would this have been a good commercial to promote the 1971 Willy Wonka movie?)
