okay so camilla is becoming mother and genuinely has so much love for her baby. and william not being around much at all i can see her wanting the best for damien, not saying she still wouldn’t be the heartless queen we know and love. but since she is adopted damien is her first real family bloodline she really only knows and could be another reason why she actually wants to care and love her child. she may not be the best mom, but actually trying her hardest and i can see her trying to protect her son and maybe even putting a lot of her trauma onto damien in the future but only cause she hasn’t dealt with or find closure from things she has gone through
