You know why filipinos are shy/hesitant to speak english? Because we are afraid to be judged for grammatical errors, by our fellow filipinos. Perfect english grammar is a big deal in this country..stay safe Dean and fam! ❤

This is the type of foreigner that I love to see in the Philippines: positive-thinking, open-minded, respectful, and willing to blend and assimilate with the culture. As every other country in the world, Philippines has its flaws and unique nuances that may be a challenge to newcomers but as long as you are willing to communicate and a flexible disposition, you will fit in if you are patient.

Suggestion whenever visiting a foreign country, just as Dean stated in the video, learn some of the language it'll make you and the folks you'll encounter feel much more at home.
