A quick comparison between fh3 and these would be great! The fh3 are slightly more expensive than these but the fd3 comes with extra grills and filters for a lower price so its very interesting

FH3($129) are less expensive than these($149). I think FH3 have better quality bass and technical performance, but more aggressive and less extended treble. FD3 is warmer and smoother with balanced tube, but lacks detail and sounds rather dull. With treble tube, sounds much better, more spacious and detailed, but somewhat artificially detailed. FD3 fit is better, but still kind of weird.

@@x-techgaming sorry for the late reply, but I forgot what u had were the pros! Thanks for the explanation, looks like i will stick with my fh3 for the time being. Im kinda looking for something with more detail since fh3 themselves arent exactly detailed monsters in the mids. Less details is a no go

@@leyvaanan8321 Yep. You need FD5, if you want serious detail ;) This little FD3 is just for basic music listeners who don't care much about the finer points of sound. I am testing different tips and filters on my FD5, to see if anything wild happens. (I would actually say the mids and bass are where FH3 does great, for its price... But treble, not very good. You get more detail everywhere with FD5, but especially treble. Everyone who listens to my FD5 says. "Wow" lol)

Already have FD5? I'm not blown away by FD3, but I'm sure some EQ or tips can improve it's flaws. I think FH3 is better.

@@x-techgaming Yes. I do tinker with EQ as I play through a Cowon Plenue D2 which has JetEffect 5 software so plenty of EQ to employ. As ever with this stuff everyone's ears are different but at this price, with the Pro cable, it is inviting.

So, FD5 has the most high-end sound by far, between FH3, FD5, FD3. (I have not heard FH5s, and the reviews seem pretty bad) But FD5 also has the sharpest, most intense treble. FH3 has great bass, great mids, and OK treble. The treble can get aggressive, and is not very extended, detailed or airy like FD5. FD3/Pro has the most balanced sound, with wide tube or thin tube(depends on what you like). But the treble and detail are rather bland/plain/muted with the wide tube, and the treble gets a little too bright and artificial sounding with the thin tube, so they both have issues. *7 Hertz Timeless* is a much better balanced, better all-arounder than all of these... But between FiiO I would definitely choose FH3 for music/general audio, considering it's the same cost as the much poorer performing FD3. Unless you aren't afraid of treble that can be intense, and you want to experience what high-end sound is like, then get FD5. ;) FD5 is also my #1 audio tool for serious FPS gaming.

Not a review, but thanks ;P (Visual review?) I like both of the 3rd party cases I use, that larger Iksnail case, and the one that comes with Legacy 3. FD5 is special and needs a little more room, so I use the bigger Iksnail case for it. ^ ^

Dear... 7HZ Timeless not available in my country.... Fiio FD5 Or KZ AST...? I need good base, treble, clear, all round sound.... Currently using RHA T20i... i need something far better than this I am eagerly waiting for your reply

How can you get FiiO and KZ, but not 7Hz? They are all made in the same place!(China) Linsoul, Amazon, AliExpress, HiFiGo ship world-wide. Timeless is the best option. Otherwise, try FH3 or ZAS or ZEX.

Nope, only FH3, FD5, and Jade EA1. I heard FH5s has even bigger stage than FD5, but it doesn't seem to be a very good sounding IEM. I am very interested in FHE and FD7/FDX, though!

Not even close. FD5 is exceptionally detailed. FD3 gives you less detail than FH3, except in treble.

So far... The tuning/balance is great. With the balanced tube, and balanced tips, you get a full, warm sound with more bass than FH3 and FD5, but far poorer spaciousness, detail/resolution, and all other technical marks. I feel there is TOO MUCH lack of detail with this tube. With the treble tube, you get a lot more satisfying treble detail, with a good amount of space and liveliness/realism added, but I feel now there is TOO MUCH brightness(in the airy treble range) and the added detail feels rather artificial. Even with a very agreeable balance, and 2 distinct tunings, I feel the lack of technical ability does not make them worth buying over FH3 or ZAS. I think the quality of FH3's bass is still better, as well. And as far as the mighty FD5 goes, FD3 doesn't stand a chance against it.

@@magik97 I'm not sure, will have to listen to them again. I would say FD3 has more mid-bass 100%, and probably FH3 has better bass extension.
