Great review BGGA. My set arrived just today in the UK and I must say that I'm very impressed by them. My ears are on the verge of being too small for the Blessing 2 Dusk but these are extremely comfortable. The bass is silky smooth and it suits the music types that I listen to (house music, 80's electro, 70''s/80's soul & funk). A great IEM at the price and a nice replacement for my recently retired Sennheiser's.

FHE is better for long listens. If you listen for an hour and less the OH10 treb might be appealling...b4 it gets a bit fatiguing

Thanks for the great review, just wanted to ask, I'm a basshead and listen to mainly hip hop/rnb/dubstep (artists like Dave, AJ Tracey, Headie One) and was wanting an IEM that had great deep bass with subbass that rumbles and goes through you, but also clear vocals and clear instrument separation (coming from XB700n headphones), do these give that kind of energy? Thanks for the first impressions of FHE. Male vocals are husky on FH3 too on some tracks just like FHE. Is it due to beryllium coated dynamic driver? Or BA timbre?

Hello, I play bass guitar and I am planning to use the FHE or a comparable IEM for live monitoring. So for me the bass is important, but it is also important, that the bass is not colored too much in an unnatural way. Do you you recommend this set for natural punchy bass or would I be better served with the FH3, Legacy 5, Form 1.4, Yume or something else? Thank you very much.

FHE is audiophile accurate with low end boost. If you are chasing crazy bass hits Focus EDM. FHE is a better long listen than OH10 because of fatigue of OH10 elevated treble. If money is no issue Xenns UP.

Great review! I would have a fit related question. I have the FH3 and I would like to get a pair of Moondrop Blessing 2 or a pair of Variations but from what I’ve seen, these two seem quite a bit larger than the FH3/FHE. Now with the FH3 I use the stock tips in large for my left ear and medium for my right ear and the body of the iems themselves fills most of my ear, there’s only some space between the pointy end of the iem and my intertragic notch (I don’t know how to call this in normal English) :). Do you reckon the aforementioned Moondrops would fit me? Looking forward to hearing from you!

My moondrop video from 2 years ago cites fit as one of biggest issues. It does not fit me without pain after an hour. FHE and FH3 are much easier fits for my ears

Hey big guy! Nice review as always. I have a question: How do they compare in terms of just general warmness vs the BLON BL-03 and the VE Bonus IE? In reference to Frank Sinatra songs maybe, or the Carpenters? I don't listen much to hiphop so bassy thump isn't my thing. I'm more interested in the rumble. Thanks!

I use a quad DAC 32 bit, set at bass and natural sound,the FIIO sounds good, and MQA, Oh yeah it's a bloody phone,the Lgv30, has a headphone jack, have a second one when this one dies.for some reason Alibaba has them for about 100.00 bucks.

Sony ZX300 is not too big and will power the sets you got with ease via 4.4 and non android so never gets old or obsolete

Mids don't seem to be recessed as in BIE and the Treble area looks better on BIE with no 5khz dip. I bought the BIE post your review and loved them. Do these sound pretty similar to BIE? And the aspects where Eclipse shines over BIE? I know it's not a comparison at all considering the price of both..but...

No I have to remove the OG MEST as it never fit me. ( it fits some) INDIGO is hard to keep alone up in S as it is limited run. Indigo>MKII>OG Happy holidays🎉

im just hoping to figure out what headphones will upgrade my FH3, enjoying the bass and clarity but with more power and higher quality (aka higher price), but the FHE isn't much an upgrade as more just a modded version.. the yume midnight or timeless might be that but i dunno.. the hard part is mostly in say synths and like when bass and vocals come in (example being kanyes so appalled where at the beginning with the strings on say the blon bl-03 sounds nice but once the bass comes the vocals feel blurred)
