It was one of the worst Fijian teams of all time on the 7s circuit. World Rugby has also destroyed this beautiful game by reducing teams and so many stupid in-game rules. If this was Ben Ryans' team, they would clean sweep all the tournaments. Most teams lack fitness now. This is because of how tournaments are being organized. Most teams are playing Fifteens now not sevens

@Cj-nm2gg Yes, and they waste time. Like comeon! it is 7 minutes each half. But World Rugby has made rules that penalize players who knock on while trying to intercept the ball. Like how idiotic of a rule is that? Lol. It is 7s keep it fast paced. Intercepted ball and try scoring, which made the game thrilling and fun. They bring all these rules just to favour Western teams who lack 7s skills.

This Fijian 7s team is the very one that won Olympic and rugby world cup medals. Of course a few players are not on board but I blame the Fijian coach. He isn't matching the players well. For instance Rasaku always attacks well but must be matched with support person who's good in finishing eg Naduvalo. Instead the coach does sub. Naduvalo with Maisamoa. If you watched how Rasaku was struggling alone without support against the Aussie till the ball was lost you'll understand the mess from the coach. The other coaches left the team intact but he's slowly dismantling it. He should be sacked before more harm is caused. The same was with Kenya's McGrath who sunk the team into mud, relegation. The new Kenya's coach knows what he's doing, so stupendous! Fijian coach must go, period! From Kenya

The problem with the Fiji Team under Ben Gollings is that they play too much finese stuff without understanding they need to keep it simple some times to just score tries. They rely on someone making a fancy move but end up chasing games. Disciplined chaos is better than a show!

Obviously, fiji is 2 time olimpic champs, has beaten the boks more by a comfortable margin, didnt see that stat it even popped up i believe. Fiji and NZ used to dominate 7s with SA getting their chances here snd there. But now lots of new teams are getting really good like France, obviously Pumas, Irish, and Ausies seem way better then they were pre-2020.

Again no realization that they were up 1 man and can immediately kick the conversion and get back to the kick off before the bin player comes back in. Note that he can only come back in during during a stoppage. So even if his sin bin time is up he cannot run in during live play. Has to wait for the next stoppage. Fiji players need to be more alert to this. This same scenario happened to them in the George Sevens. and South Africa won

Nah more like flat ball the fijian who received it fell back caught it then accelerated. Anyway reff was behind wouldve had a bad visual that pass was also the side reffs job to judge.

Are you blind, they're still same. What changed is their skill and fluid play, I blame that on players looking young (probably new) and their hunger to get tries and dominate looks like it fizzled out. If any team was big and slow, look at the 2022 Commonwealth final. That fji team looked like bodybuilders compared to this team lol.

What an absolutely idiotic comment - and you look it too! 80% of the country consists of native blacks who only care about rugby because of the country's rich rygby history (played by a minority) and because we are world champions - but that interest is growing. Football is the country's most popular sport. As for talking about the country's "only" 89 Olympic medals, you are way out of your league if you should even try to debate this point pellie.
