Dimash Qudaibergen (di-MOSH Koo-dye-BEHR-gen) is a talented artist from Kazakhstan who began his formal training at the age of 5. He is professionally trained in opera, contemporary music, and musical theater. His diverse discography includes genres such as pop, R&B, EDM, rock, folk/traditional, neo-classical, opera, and even rap and hip-hop with a vocal range of 7+ octaves: C1-D8(which doesn't exist on a standard 88-key piano). Qudaibergen has performed songs in 15 languages and is fluent in Russian and Kazakh while also possessing some proficiency in English and Chinese. A multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter, producer, director, and actor, he owns a production company called Dimashali Creative Center. He is 29 years old, 6'3", and a consummate performer and he has a great love and respect for his fans whom he has named DEARS.

As one reviewer put it, you have now been "Dimashified". He is, unquestionably, the absolutely greatest singer on the planet Earth right now (possibly in the history of singing)! In case you have not read up on him, he's from Kazakhstan and has a world-wide following -- especially in Europe and Asia. You're right . . . he isn't human, that's for sure! Like so many who have reviewed him and become fans (or as he calls them, "Dears,") I am a trained singer, and I simply can't imagine how any one person is able to do what he does -- not only his insane range (around 6-1/2 octaves), but his absolute control, both in tone and breath, and the perfection of every note, no matter what style or range he is singing. He speaks something like 5 or 6 languages, sings in around 15. Dimash IS music!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was born to do this!!!!!! People think Dimash is a great singer. He is not JUST a great singer. Some things that make Dimash a different singer are his absolute pitch and ability to perceive and reproduce microtonals. He is also a phenomenal composer and arranger and this complements his singing as everything that needs to be done is already laid out in his head! Dimash graduated from the University of the Arts in piano, classical, modern and jazz singing, has a master's degree in composition, plays seven musical instruments and is currently completing his doctorate in musicology. The complexity of the works created by Dimash (such as “The Story of One Sky” and “El Amor En Ti”) demonstrates that Dimash is not only a singer, but can also declare himself as one of the most talented contemporary composers!

If you look and listen to the close to 200 performances, the combination of incredible vocal athetism, emotion including many gasps, colors, visuals and acting in his music videos, stage set-ups, plus a huge array of genres, beats and songs including a wide range of other singers and you get an entire breath-taking Circe de Soleil type experience. Some also compare him to a Vocal Rollercoaster because he is the King of smooth transitions.🙄🫣😅 Fans fly in from up to 68 countries to attend his 3 hour life changing Concerts. His fans are known as Dears because Dimash has declared that we are "Dear to his heart" like family. Dimash believes that a singer/performer is nothing without fans. Some songs are massively different from one performance to another. Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And that in all registers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of daily hard training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 15 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. Sometimes he also can be a little bit goofy, and I love it❤️. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in his hometown Almaty, it was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. He was just 22 years old at the time. Please also react to The Singer competition as soon as you can. If you want to see another jaw-dropping song than I recommend Stranger. Dimash is a 29-year-old Kasakh vocalist and composer; He speaks Kasakh, Russian and English and is learning Mandarin Chinese. He sings in more than 14 languages, plays 7 musical instruments. He graduated from the Kazakhstan University of Arts with a master's degree in composition and is completing a doctorate in musicology. Dimash sings from classical to rap, he is full of surprises, have a good swim in this vast ocean of pleasures. Do you remember the Diva song from The Fifth Element, a movie with Bruce Willis? The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. Welcome to THE best singer in the world! This song is from a French rock opera called Starmania from the 1970's i think. This performance, and the whole Digital Show was performed live by him because of having to cancel his concerts during the Covid times. He truly is a phenomenon singer. His range is around 7.2 octaves and he covers all genres of music from Opera to pop, rock, folk, classical, r&b, jazz and he even raps!! He does all of this to perfection. I have never known a singer who conveys so much emotion with every performance. He is also a multi-instrumentalist, composer and a very humble, caring person. I hope you continue with discovering Dimash and his amazing vocal abilities, as well as his humanitarian side, for which he has won various accolades as well as his many and varied awards for his musical talents. He released an album in China which went triple platinum within minutes of being released! He first went viral overnight when being invited onto a tv talent show there in 2017 and SOS was the first song performed by him on the first show. By morning, after going there as an unknown, he was told he would need security around him! The talent show was for already established Chinese singers and Dimash was invited as a wild card, expected to last a few weeks, but he lasted the whole series, winning a number of shows and also endearing himself to the Chinese people. He ended up staying there for 3 years, appearing on various shows, even a reality show called Super Shine Brothers which was a huge hit. To this day he is regularly invited back to China to appear in many celebratory shows/concerts and has recently returned from a stint of around 3 months there doing various big events. Great reaction! I am glad you finally saw his full performance. I discovered him back in March of this year. I am obsessed with his voice ever since. Once you learn that he is an amazing, loving, kind, intelligent, and a patriotic person on top of his unbelievable vocal abilities, you can’t help but fall under his spell. Dimash is your destiny. Well at least it's mine because I got hooked. He's so powerful and such a great human that you may never return from the rabbit hole. Can you imagine how his multi-millions of fans felt the first time they heard him sing. For me it was about 7 years ago, and I was completely mesmerized, and it took me a few minutes to understand what was going on. Today I know most all of his talents he has shown; but he still throws a few surprises into each performance , just to keep you on your toes. You never know what to expect; but it is a talent beyond belief and the more you hear him sing the more you will agree to what i have said and more.
