Thanks for this video! I think the follow-up Q&A videos to some of these topics is a fantastic idea! It gives us a kind of feedback that I've never seen with other tutorial series. Please keep up the excellent work! Do you have any tips on avoiding the tendency to over-flare and preventing floating?
@320SimPilot4 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you liked it, I will try and do more in future if they fit in. For the flare you are only trying to reduce the rate of descent for touchdown, not make it zero, so typically its just a few degrees pitch change but this depends on how stable the final approach was! I may do a video specific to the actual flare as it can take some practice!

@@320SimPilot Thanks for the response. A video that addresses how to flare properly would be much appreciated!

Thank you very much for your tutorial. Havinh lots of trouble landing both the Toliss A319 and Toliss A321. Keep getting hard landings. How to achieve butter landings. Should I flare when I am 30 ft from the runway? Should I reduce the throttle to idle when I am 10 feet from the runway?
@MicahVobora4 жыл бұрын
When do you actually go from reverse to forward idle? Because I know that you need to be idle reverse at 70kts gs but I've seen people go forward idle at 30kts and 60kts. So that confuses me a bit.

Around Taxi speed, it varies a bit but I usually do it around 30 kts or less. Thanks for watching!
