Wow, absolutely incredible LANDING, and you professional patter inflight sounds so calm and relaxed - not surprising naturally. Really impressed by your videos, and I am learning alot! Thanks so much...

Thanks for the videos, great tutorials. Any plans to share tutorials on St Maarten and Kathmandu airport?

Thanks for the tutorials. After two years I am trying to catch up lost knowledge.

Why would my nosewheel steering quit? Still have a lot to learn, but the NWS was engaged. While landing at KDEN, I forgot to activate the APPR phase (like I said, still have a lot to learn) so I ended up flying approach manually. I had the speedbrakes armed but when I touched down, neither they nor the reversers deployed. But the most surprising thing was, as noted, the loss of NWS. Any suggestions? Clearly I'm also checking the documentation and watching you very instructive videos.

Thanks for the videos. I find watching RL bus drivers applying correct SOP very informative. Not everything can be read from FCOM, FTCM etc. One of the very small things i haven't seen covered in your videos (i admit i haven't watched them all yet) nor other RL bus drivers sim videos is getting in line with ICAO recommendation regarding vertical speed on the last 1000ft from cleared altitude (anti-TCAS RA). What would be the best method for this on the bus? Is V/S mode the ultimate answer to this?
@320SimPilot4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and your comment. If your performance is high enough that your climb rate is over 1000fpm then usually yes V/S will work, but be careful of the speed as it may increase or decrease in V/S!

The ToLiSS A321 is a wonderful X-Plane aircraft. Could you please tell me how to access the wing and the passenger window view? Thank you 😊
@320SimPilot4 жыл бұрын
Hi Frank thanks for watching! For window views go to X Plane settings, keyboard, toliss_airbus, 3D cockpit commands and then assign your key to the 'Set view to engine observer' or ' Set the view to wing observer'.

How do you get the shadows so smooth in the cockpit? Mine are awful and zagged?

I have some Anti Aliasing on, maybe that makes the difference? Thanks for watching!

@@320SimPilot I also did but it made no difference. I changed the setting.ini to 8142 on shadows and made all the difference. Thanks for all the videos. Fantastic work.

An excellent set of tutorials! Many thanks, they've been incredibly useful! Would you please consider making a detailed tutorial on how to realistically land the Airbus, particularly the flare, retard and touchdown. This is one of the more tricky parts of a flight and something that no-one seems to be trying to teach properly. There seems to be a preoccupation with the perfect 'butter' landing which, I understand, isn't the objective of landings in the real world. If you have the time, a tutorial on how to de-crab during a crosswind landing would also be really helpful. Please keep up this great work, it is much appreciated!

@@320SimPilot Thanks, I look forward to that! This is an area of flight that you real-life pilots make look so darned easy, but we virtual pilots can struggle with. I watched your EGLL to EGCC full flight video, made some notes, and 'nailed' an absolute beauty of a landing at EGKK. Proof, if you needed it, that the videos you're making really help! :)

Hey I love your tutorials as I’m new to the Airbus A320 I find them VERY USEFUL. I tried to replicate this one but on the last right turn for final approach, the airplane just kept turning right at 3500 feet (like a pattern). I saw when you started turning right you engage APPR and AP2 if I’m not wrong, but mine just did that. Thanks for your hepl!!

Hi Hector, that is a tricky one. There are lots of possibilities. Perhaps if you were in NAV mode, the flight path may have gone somewhere different? My video on 'Radar Vectors' may help you use HDG to get to the ILS. Thanks for watching!
