there are many a320 tutorials out there, but dude, your tutorials are always the most comprehensive, simple and give us a pick behind the curtains of being a pilot irl. Keep up the great work👍👍👍

You should post a video with challenging approaches like these. I learnt about Skiathos from your videos and I absolutely enjoyed myself on that approach!

I would reccomend trying the VOR approach into ENML, offset and no g/s, very challenging! And stønning scenery

I’ve learnt how to fly on MSFS in a week from watching your videos, very well done.

As always, highly informative and presented in a clear, concise way. Thank you for that. While I still fly the FlyByWire A320, where VNAV hasn't been fully implemented yet, I will give this a go. I do enjoy my Flightsim not only because of the flying aspect per se, but also because there is so much to learn. It keeps my old brainbox interested.

I decided to fly this approach in the DC6 before watching this video. I think I went a bit overboard with the weather, and now realized I landed on the wrong runway! But thanks for these videos! Also, that eye tracking is amazing! I’m surprised by how much you looked outside, I keep staring at the instruments!

The eye tracking is SICK! :o Really cool and amazing thing to learn from! Thanks a lot for your videos, you're doing outstanding job!

it looks so easy. But if i try it myself, i findout it's not !! But youre tutorials are helping us flightsimmers a lot. It shows us how it is done in the real world of flying. Keep it up and show us all the features of flying. Good work man !!!! And thank you for sharing it with us !!!

Great tutorials as always. Love the external approach view at 25:14. Very immersive. Nice to see you still using the Tobii eyetracker. I received my Tobii last week. Wonderful piece of tech which now replaces my Track IR which I used in the good old FSX days. I’m sure you do the same as me, but I have assigned key F9 to switch of the Tobii head tracking in flight as constantly having a swinging movement is a wee bit nauseous during a long flight. Otherwise thoroughly enjoying your tutorials which adds a real sense of realism to the Flight Simulator. Although I quite often have to view them more often. The learning curve is steep in some. Just a wee criticism, would appreciate you talking a bit slower in the tutorials, it’s a lot to take in for us office chair pilots !!. Many thanks for your good work in this channel.

KZbin can really find appropriate videos for you.. I flew this very approach yesterday, they changed runway on us last minute, we were fast and high, what a workout to get it stabilised! Combined with comical guidance on the tiny ramp, it was a pretty interesting morning at work🤪😂

This is probably the most usual approach for LGKL. The route passes right over my country house, so me and my buddies we like hiking to that mountain peak at D20.0 KAM and watch the airplanes flying a few hundred feet above us, as they descend. I've taken some amazing shots with my camera.

Oh that sounds sublime. Sometimes I wish I lived in an area with great airport views like that, but I live in Florida where the tallest "hills" are mostly the city dump lol
@markfroggatt9282 жыл бұрын
nice one. another interesting approach to do would be Innsbruck LOWI not a lot of room for errors especially in winter.

Would be interesting to see if the V2 FBW recode handles this route better, especially the sharp turn that it didn't quite make correctly in the sim

Let’s say you’re checking constraints on the mcdu against the constraints on the approach plate and the mcdu doesn’t match. Is there a way to amend constraints via the mcdu so the altitudes are correct for the approach? I really enjoy your work. Super helpful. Keep it up!

You should try fslabs 319-321! It’s pretty expensive adding that costs up to 401 aud with all addons but it’s probably the most realistic possible expierence you can possibly get on a sim!
@tomstravels5202 жыл бұрын
Plus the cost of getting P3D as its not available for X-Plane or MSFS

Greetings :) I have noticed that the ILS distance indicator on the PFD shows a slightly higher number than the analogue DDRMI-DME under the standby artificial horizon. Is this a bug, or a wanted feature showing a discrepancy or two systems from different eras? The PFD ILS distance indicator was showing 11,8 nautical miles distance while the DDRMI-DME was showing 11,3 nm distance for example at one point during the approach.
@tomstravels5202 жыл бұрын
DDRMI doesn't show distance to the ILS, it shows distance to the VOR beacon

Great video as always - I find myself adding gear extension early having put out speed brake unless I get the speed right back before the turn onto final heading. Am I correct in thinking it’s better to drag with flap and gear rather than speed brake for stability ?
@cargobroom98982 жыл бұрын
My understanding is that you are correct because the speed brake disrupts the airflow over the horizontal stabiliser which causes turbulence, however I am not a real pilot so I may be wrong

Another great tutorial, thank you! Any chance of getting rid of that annoying white toolbar marker from MSFS that pops up every time the mouse moves? There is a free and tiny mod on flightsim_to that removes it and the menu only pops up when the mouse is right over it.
