I have the citizens Aqua land dive watch. I love that watch.

I've had mine for 18 years now and Gabriel is wearing one that I purchased in the mid to late 80's. Love these watches!

The big ilbe pack is adjustable size, if you look on the frame where the actual bag is attached, you’ll see more holes to attach it to. When I used this thing in the Marines I’d set it up to be as small as possible for the situation

The whole system (main, hydration carrier, and 3 day bag) weighs almost seventeen pounds empty! I love the FILBE system and I agree, the lighter the setup the better!

Great review of the hydration carrier but if I was carrying that much gear I would just opt for the FILBE assault pack. Weight difference is like 2 pounds maybe
@robertsbushcraft Жыл бұрын
Sometimes I do just that, switch out for the 3 day assault pack. I've found that this hydration carrier is great for running. My in-between and pretty much my grab and go bag is the Eagle Industries Beavertail Assault Pack: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a4OtgYGDgrF5nbc

Thinking about getting one of these primarily as a small knapsack to add to both day hike loadout, and to round out my poor man's recreation of the USMC M1967 LCE setup, the one with the Belt + H-harness w butt pack and small combat pack, with this assuming the role of the combat pack /small ruck. Just need to figure out some mod to close off the opening for the bladder... Although tossing my 1.5 L CamelBak in there and using the extra room for storage is a possibility as well. Thanks for the review, great to see all the features thoroughly explored (even if it did kinda become a hydration bladder discussion/review for a while there lol)

I'd put my gear inside of a waterproof bag and not worry too much about closing the fill area for the bladder. Here's another video we put together: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4Wwc5yajNSkoLM

im considering ordering a fible main and potentally the others first i wanna get the main anyway i think its worth the price you guys have used it so much i feel confident in the quality
@robertsbushcraft3 жыл бұрын
100% love the quality of this gear. It's current issue to the US Marines and if it's tough enough to meet their demands it's tough enough to meet anything we can throw at it. The FILBE main ruck is heavy though, 9-10 lbs empty.
