😊I’m speechless…but I’m still amazed by how beautiful it is to watch the whole process live and in full color and in the same day 😮! Thank you very much for taking your valuable time and sharing this amazing work of art with me ❤! I know that the COVID19 Pandemic was a huge, devastating event that we all have experienced but I’m so grateful because of that and for the first time I saw one of your videos and immediately I felt in love and inspired. Since then, I continue to watch them and enjoy each one of them. 🥰 Thank you 🙏🏼

Such a great book sale, Cori. Next time I make one, I will assemble it all first and get a feel for both ways. I think, I’m going to make 3 full signatures and the two different inserts. It’ll be fine for the granddaughters in a few years.

I am L Loving the tutorial. you explain things so well. I am also fascinated by the idea of sewing in by machine. Just a thought that I had: it may be easier to use the zipper foot when you sew it in to avoid the bulk.

Great idea with the zipper foot. I've gotten so used to using a basic foot that I often forget that there are so many wonderful options. Thank you!

Hello Cori, I have been a subscriber for quite awhile. Can I request a video doing masculine style clusters or even a masculine style junk journal? I know vintage can really work for masculine style and perhaps most of what you do will work already. However, creating with masculine in mind may really result in some amazing clusters! Or, if you've done one in the past, please recommend one of your videos I can go back and review for that purpose. Thanks so much!
@CoriDahmen9 ай бұрын
Yes! I have the Tim Holtz gentlemen pages I want/need to turn into a journal and I'll definitely make some clusters for use in that. It might be a few months, but that project is on my short list 😊

Ahhh. The joy of report cards. I do have 2 questions regarding the sewing: 1, do you use the all purpose foot? And 2, do you lengthen your stitches? This is a really good tutorial series with tons of useful information. Thank you.
@CoriDahmen9 ай бұрын
Thank you Jewel and yes and yes. I use the basic attachment/foot and I use a straight stitch, but make it as long as it will go.

Love this! Can’t wait to see the finished product. With sewing on the machine do you have problems with the paper perforating and then tearing out?
@CoriDahmen9 ай бұрын
Thank you and nope. I make the stitch as long as it will go (using a basic straight stitch) and I've not yet had one tear out. Maybe I should knock on wood...

The first and only time I sewed my signatures in, my needle broke. Single fold. 😢 I may try again someday. 😉
@CoriDahmen7 ай бұрын
Oh wow. I'm sorry! I use a middle weight needle (I was to say 11 or 12, but I could easily be misremembering) and I've not yet broken a needle during the sewing in stage. Best wishes to you!
