craziest part to me, is that she speaks more coherently than just about anyone ive met her age here in america. literally sharing 1 room with 3 other people so they can support themselves living on their own, and still more intelligent than half the people i see on a daily basis in america.

Good for her, such a good attitude and she surfs !I’m an American married to a Philippine woman living in a rural area of the Philippines . It’s sad as there are so many single moms here struggling to get by and some real beauties. If you just smile at them they flirt and laugh! So friendly . I know several in our small town that I joke with and they love to laugh at making fun of each other. Really down to earth people. The hardest part is being married ! I want to take them all home and give them a good life! I’ve been here five years now, left the US, liquidated everything, never going back! Bought a lot right on the ocean with good surf out front , I surf also , built a nice house. It’s ridiculously cheap to live here. When I needed help building , skilled labor was $15 dollars a day , laborers $10. The skilled guys are really good. Know their trade. I’m 75 now and my wife is 46. Women here don’t show age much until late in life. It’s hard to tell if a woman is 15 or 40.

Why the leading question defining older foreigners as "creepy" ? She clearly didn't share that opinion she just wants respect stability and loyalty, age and appearance are much less important. Philipina's in general don't have a problem with age that's a westerner's bias.

So many single Mothers in the Philippines. Many Filipino men (not all) walk away after the girl becomes pregnant. I have met my share and perhaps if the economy were better and jobs were plentiful this might not be the case. As it is, it is a struggle simply to survive in the Philippines for millions. I helped when I could but the financial problems are never ending...such tragedy mixed with such beauty...I love the Philippines and its people...mostly very sweet and kind folks.
