I think a lot of the time it's easy to decipher if you have a filipina who is only interested in the money. It's very simple...If they ask, they aren't the one for you. Most province girls that are sweet & sincere and generally interested in a real relationship would not dare ask for money or even hint at asking. For some men a woman who is clear she only is after your money is a better choice. They're honest and direct. These men how no problem saying "no" and controlling himself. She will know at all times her access to his resources is based on her ability to be a help to him and she doesn't mind one bit getting on his game plan. This man gets to live his life as he wants. On the other hand a sweet innocent woman gets access a different way. She has much more power over her man, more than she probably even wants. They meet online, his sends money. She picks him up at the airport and drives him to her world where they live. All his assets come under her control and she decides how money is spent even though the man thinks he's calling the shots. Single moms are masters at this and again, I don't fault them one bit. And the men are always thrilled with this arrangement too. There's absolutely nothing wrong here. Everyone is getting what they want. This men have no desire to create their own game plan. They just want to enjoy the life the woman provides which almost always is a very good like in PH.

Sure, lots of things are important too. But you're missing a reality here too. In order to see if you 2 have healthy communication and all these other wonderful things a man has to get a woman to talk to him. Ask any man from India, Africa or China about this and you will hear they get rejected instantly. Or ask a Filipino man how he feels about Filipinas who only want a "foreigner" by which she means only certain countries all of which just happen to be the wealthiest countries in the world. I don't fault Filipinas for this because it's a female instinct. Even Filipino men generally don't fault them and say they understand the need to find a man who can provide. However the blindness of men to this is off putting to me. Males seek strong males to form alliances. We do this in sports and in war. A weak male in battle is a serious risk. Better they get shot and a replacement comes in who might be better. So it's the instinct of males to dislike weakness in other males. Not being able to face women want you first for your ability to provide is a serious weakness. These are the males who lose all their money and then beg other expats to to help them. It's also why we have this huge social media backlash against weak males calling them simps, betas, White Knights, etc...

Absolutely true. There are a couple of American female Tubers who have moved to SE Asia and support a local man. However Filipinas are in a bind actually being truthful on this subject. Partly it's face saving but mainly they would get crucified by men if they admitted "#1 reason is I want a better life". Men scream "GOLD DIGGER!!!" Most male egos don't do well being "loved' for their money. Kind of strange and not very logical. Maybe they're insecure thinking they don't have much money. Every Tuber Filipina I see discussing this does the same thing... add "only". Even Pea who I respect a great deal for her rational thought and intellect. By adding "only" their position becomes absolutely true and they win. A man with money who beats a woman will likely be rejected by that woman so therefore money clearly wasn't the "only" factor. So absolutely true money isn't the ONLY thing a woman wants. I switch from "Filipina" to "woman" because this is an human female instinct. Heck, it's not even limited to our species. In many species females pick provider males judged based on size, health, body language. A weak, small males is unlikely to be a provider. This is true even in species where the male doesn't stick around to actually provide for her or their kids. The female still wants those provider skills in her kids. In those species the differences between females and males is smaller because the female actually is the provider to her kids and herself. However it's also obviously true money is the #1 criteria for 98% of all human females. Money is an easy way to tell a male is a provider. She doesn't know how he got his money, but he found some way. This is instinct, not logic. This can be done in just a couple seconds. Meet a woman on the street and start a chat she's instantly noticing how you're dressed, how clean you are, your teeth and how you act. These are all wealth signs. You ask for her number and if she sees wealth (provider skills) she gives you her number. Only then will only the other factors matter. Once a male passes her provider rule can she move onto is he kind, generous, respectful, fun, etc.. Some combination of those desires must be met too. But none of the other items matter if the money bar isn't met first. Being a foreigner able to travel half way around the Earth is an instant pass on money. To Filipino "foreigner" and "rich" have the same meaning. For example when a Filipina says she wants a "foreigner" she does not mean the English definition. She means "rich" (relative to her world). Ask "How about a man from India or Africa or China?" and often you get a hard "NO!". Filipinas talk and word is men from these countries do not have money. In fact many are on dating sites trying to scam Filipina into sending them money. Kind of shame we can't be more open about this natural instinct.

So you asked what is the difference and here goes with the average Filipina making 2 to 300 a month and mini making much much lower a foreigner making only 1700 a month is 6 to 8 times lifestyle increase. Western women generally date in their social economic circle, with men making slightly higher than them. This is the reason Filipinas appear as gold diggers because of the huge economic jump that most are aware of before looking for a foreigner. If a woman in America only dated men that made 6 to 8 times more than them they would be considered gold diggers also and are.

it's about money, let not sugar coat. but the Filipina doesn't understand. if you marry a foreigner let say retired military with a ex-wife with children the ex-wife has first priority over his military pension since she has the children and the house. the Filipina second wife get all most nothing. unless she goes to her husband country and become a resident or citizen. tourist visa will not work. now money if s Filipino making over 29k peso it considered well off. the average say is 6500 peso. no a foreigner that is 700usd month and live simple life it okay. but western lifestyle cost.

It's all a tradeoff.... The men have their reasons for wanting a woman from over here, and the women over here have their reasons for wanting a foreign or immigrant man. Women in every country marry for money. And there is nothing wrong with a woman wanting to make sure her man can provide for her if need be. Why do you think 60+ yr old half dead men come here with their social security checks and go right after the young women in their 20's with nice bodies? Foreign dollars are often used like bait on a fishing hook. Men fish for the best Filipina they can catch with the bait of foreign currency. These same men cannot get a young woman in their countries because the small amount that they bring in, is not enough to make a western woman lay down with them. My wife was working when we met in 2013 and she continued to work until we left the US and moved here to the Philippines in 2023. She did not marry me for the money, but the security of me being able to provide for her when she was no longer making her own money was just common sense. The reality is that if more Filipino men were being paid a decent wage, most Filipinas would rather date their own men. They would not have to deal with a foreign man trying to keep them from their families (moving them to another island), no culture or communication barriers, or more importantly, not dealing with men coming to this country and criticizing their people to the point of it being arrogant. There is a big difference of what it wealthy in countries like America and a country like the Philippines. When you look at the cost of living in America, a man that is only bringing in the average social security check of $1750 a month in many cities is considered to be well below poverty standards in most cities across the country.. Here in the Philippines, that same $1750 is puts that man on a competitive scale with typical province Filipino men outside of the men working in well paying positions. When it comes to guys that have military retirement and/or 100% VA disability, thats when you see the ones that are not here for financial reasons. I have met Filipina wives in the US that were suckered into thinking that all American men are rich.. But quickly learned the truth once they moved to the US... And this fits men of every race, skin tone, ethnicity and age... At best, a lot of the immigrants that move here are just poor immigrants living in a country with a more affordable cost of living than where they fled from. Just the point blank truth.....
