"Bituin walang ningning" is a song by Sharon cuneta, it's recently use by "gay lingo" i-sharon (to pack and bring home a food from celebrations) because of the song lyrics, "balutin mo Ako" means wrap me up. Hahaha

I don't know how Efra & Wale aren't part of a Pinoy tropa yet. They are so deep in the Pinoy rabbit hole they are honorary Filipinos😂
@Zoidielicious18 күн бұрын
The 1st commercial, the mother came from a birthday party. And in the Philippines, it's a culture that you can bring home food the party which we called "Balot" which means "To wrap". That's why Sharon Cuneta song is always used in these types of scenario. Instead of using "Balot" they used "Sharon Cuneta". For example, "Sis, mag Sharon kna". In English, "Sis, you can take home (Balot) some food." And Sharon's song Bituin Walang Ningning chorus started "Balutin mo ako ng hiwaga ng iyong pagmamahal" which translates to "Wrap me in the mystery of your love". So base on that context you will know why there's a clown, lechon, and the boy or maybe the birthday boy was also carried. That's just mean she brought everything from the party.

4:26 is a recreation of a classic movie Himala (Miracle 1982) starred by Nora Aunor, almost all scenes from the RC cola was taken from the film...you are right...the creative staff behind these ads are weird 😂 I was laughing out loud when you looked traumatized with our ads 😂

@bugsybaguio284318 күн бұрын
No no no! The RC cola story is that the mom attended a birthday party of the neighbor's kid. But we have this culture in the Philippines to "balot" some food from the party. Its like taking home food and put them in tiny plastic containers. Apparently, this mom like took home the entire feast, dragging the clown, singer, even the kid celebrant and the lechon. It was meant to be an exaggeration to call out the take home culture jokingly. Sharon Cuneta has a song titled Bituing Walang Ningning with the exact line of "balutin mo ako sa hiwaga ng iyong pagmamahal" which coincides the "balot" concept.

The song is BITUING WALANG NING NING - star that has no shine / sparkle less star sung by Sharon Cuneta. This is the song behind the concept of wrapping take away after a feast - because of the lyrics - balutin mo ako - this means to wrap lol. ( balutin mo ako sa liwanag nag ng iyong pagmamahal - wrap me in the light/warmth of your love) 😅 When you whip out the plastic wrap after eating at a party and ask for take away - it’s referred to as mag sha Sharon meaning you will do the Sharon

The tagline "Basta masarap" translate to "Whatever, it's delicious." So really, the stories are random and just leaves you wondering what the heck you just watched and most likely stays with your for a while and it doesn't matter, because the point is, whatever it is, the product itself is deliciousness. Brilliant marketing actually.

The first commercial is an exaggerated portrayal of something a lot of Pinoys do. They attend occasions, eat the food, AAAND get to take some food home as well! Some like this mother just go a bit overboard (well, this mom, too much!). The RC Cola ads are so embarassing! They're just like stupid skits in school except better-produced. The second one, though, was relating to the classic Pinoy film WALANG HIMALA.
