The lechon looked soooo incredible! It's been so long since I've had some. Made me wish I were there. Then you go to Chow 2 and have such an incredible feast! If that isn't enough to make me want to move to Mindanao right away, I don't know what is. Buon appetito Kulas and friends!!!

Philippines is full of culinary experts since a lot of students took the courses. Last time I went to the PH nine years ago, suddenly every where I look there is restaurants and the food have a lot of choices. Thirty three years ago you seldom see restaurant in the neighborhood. There are a lot of changes ever since. The food at Chow2 is definitely look delicious! 😋 Great to blog food for a change.

Pinakbet is an ilocano dish from the word keb-bet meaning wrinkle. They cook it until the eggplant wrinkles. Ilocanos cooked it with less or no soup/sabaw. Pinakbet = let it wrinkle
