Hey just wanted to say I appreciate the videos and like your way of filming when it’s raw footage of just walking around. No one really shows just the simple , everyday life. The streets, the malls, talking with the people. I like the longer videos. Thanks!

Thanks for your appreciation. I'll try some longer videos as suggested.

As a kid there was a Filipina who used to baby sit my sister and I , she was a very kind and gentle lady and was a stickler for keeping her house clean. I remember her small stature ,long hair to her waist and always smiled. Ahhh the good old days of youth!

Ok, in this video I like the bumper music you put in 3/4 in the film, American country harmonica and e guitars 🎸 👌, thx & cheers

I died hearing you accentuate the “R” in cards😂 as an American it kills me when a British person imitates our pronunciation

That's how it is in the Philippines, especially the provinces. You can stumble on a birthday party, a gathering, or just locals hanging out over some brew and they will ask, most likely insist, you to join them like your one of them😀😀

That's what makes the Philippines unique.

8:41 I love how there is a huge sign that says "leave nothing on the beach but your footprints" as they are surrounded by trash/rubbish...

Interesting and enjoyable video, it's refreshing to see an English Vlogger doing his thing, there appear to be quite a lot of US citizens and a few US vloggers living in Dumaguete, it seems to be a popular spot. You interact naturally with the friendly locals, your vlogs are tempting me to leave the dreary UK and come there.....🙂

God knows why they live here. There's far better places to live in the Phils, I think, although I'm still searching for a good option. Thanks for your appreciation! I took tiny steps at first ..... holidaying in Asia during British winters. It's a lot cheaper here for sure and warmer!

I really like your style of vlogging Patrick... As well as where you prefer to live. I like the buzz of the big city. I can only handle the company for a short while then I need my alone time.

Another great video. I don’t need to record with my own phone/camera. You walk the same routes I do and do a much better job recording the scenery and events. I met a pretty Filipina in Dauin. But I wasn’t her only foreign bf I later found out. Oh well ! 😮😊
@BiggWorldCinema Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your appreciation. Your experience with the Dauin lady is quite typical of filipinas in Duma/Dauin I heard due to the amount of foreigners there. You're probably best off trying a less trodden path outside those places such as Bayawan or Bacolod.

If you like good beaches its not so much around Dumaguete I think. You need to hop to other Islands.

Yeah, it's amazing that some islands have black sand, while others are white. Seems that the volcanic construction of some is more prominent.
