When we were younger, my sisters and I would sell halo halo or ihaw ihaw alternately kapag summer. Pinambibili namin ng notebooks kapag school opening na 'yung inipon naming kita (profit). From pamamalengke to pagluluto at pagtitimpla to pagliligpit after a long day of selling.. nakakapagod pero nakaka build ng character. ❤

Kapag nag crave ako before sa streetfoods either i go to nearby school or sa palengke. Malapit lang naman school in my place mga 300 meters away so cardio na yun hahaha. My top faves are ice cramble, kwek kwek, kikiam & chicken balls.. Sana nga bumalik na sa dati para maka tambay & kaen na uli sa gilid ng school. And just like khalil after i eat all those mamantika, kakain din ako ng fruits yan tulad ng mangga, singkamas na nka stick or sliced na pakwan. Haaaay nakaka gutom ahh 😅😅

you should try the other snacks/street food in UP campus: carioca, cheesesticks, sweet corn (with cheese powder if you like), sorbetes ("dirty ice cream"), then fishballs/kikiam/dynamite, squidballs, chicken balls, kwek-kwek from the stalls around campus. enjoy!
