I saw some negative comments here. Guys, it's just not the typical sound you hear, that's why. It's her style and that's what got the judges' attention. There's a Filipino singer named KZ Tandingan who isn't a typical Filipino belter/ballad singer, has her own unique sound, but sing so fcckng good and broke barriers. Billie Eilish is another example. This is what judges are looking for. Something that sounds unique where when you hear the first few notes you can identify who the singer is.

I'm not Filipino but a fellow SCOUSER, I've been following Filipino music for nearly 5 years especially the incomparable MORISSETTE AMON LAMAR, now this a woman you could learn a hell of a lot from, her stage presence, her entertainment value and that voice of hers OMG, she trains her voice by running on a treadmill to be able to sing and dance at the same time without going off point, she's just magnificent, I know for a fact that Anne Marie is big fan of hers after watching her sing her song 2002, Anne Marie said in a interview that she wants to collaborate with her, so RAIN, just watch and learn girl, you will benefit so much from her and she's only 26 yrs old and she's from the province of CEBU Philippines, I wish you all the success in the world 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️

I'm not a fan of rap, but I love rappers who deliver clear words and can sing. Rain can do both. The other girl going into the semi finals was a great rapper, but what sets Rain apart is she can rap AND sing! She can dance, genuinely unique in style. Amazing. I would have liked to heart the other two at the semi to compare because you would have to have stronger stage performance and originality for Will to not chose her.
