I live amongst a large population of filipino people. They are so kind and Loving. 55 and older community of caring loving people. I’m learning words and my friends are surprised when I speak the language. No matter what race, be kind truthfully and loving. It’s amazing 🤩 I love living with a large group of people from all over the world , not only Filipino it’s beautiful❤❤❤❤🎉😊

Wow, i came to this channel,i am a Filipino, it's pretty amazing channel, for those who wants to learn Tagalog language,but this quite formal conversation, which is not the colloquial Tagalog which we usually used but everything is great

​@@RS-do6tvRealistically you could just say "nice to meet you po" add that "po" for formality. But it's better to learn "ikinagagalak kitang makilala" because some of us don't really understand English that well 😃

Lalaki can also mean guy or male person... She should have said a bad guy or man instead of boy 😊😅

lalaki means male and batang lalaki means male child. we don't have a specific word for boy, man, girl, woman.

​@sanankhan2960 Its not 1 word, it's an abbreviation. An abbreviation is when you take the first letter of every word in a group of words to form a an abbreviation. For example, LOL stands for Laughing Out Loud, or OMG stands for Oh My God.

Because you can also say it like "mawalang galang laang" that's why they put an apostrophe.

Taga log (tahgah-log) - came from the word "taga-ilog", meaning a person who lives by the river.
