actually tj is a famous songwriter and singer (he actually much more prepare to call himself a songwriter/lyricist then a singer) here in Philippines even before he and kz dating. some of his famous songs are “dating tayo”, “ikaw at ako”, and of course “palagi” the meaning of palagi is “always” like he always choose her no matter what and translates of “babalik parin sa yakap mo” is “i still going back to your hug” (something like that) tj write this song (no one help him to write this song, only him) for his wife kz for their 10 years of knowing each other because before their marriage they’re friends until they fall in love. Tj is kz first and last boyfriend, he is a really talented singer songwriter hope you can react to his other songs and their interviews in “kuan on one”

The reason I think this song is popular is because of its melody and lyrics. It's what us Filipinos would listen to on our downtime, just a chill song, relaxing. There are 3 main reasons why a song would be popular in the Ph. 1. Great Vocals 2. Great lyrics 3. Distinct melody. Some very popular music have average vocals but very good lyrics. Plus tagalog lyrics are much more romantic imho.

Hello! Tj monterde was a versatile singer already, before he met his wife kz. He could be a great soloist or band singer, and a great composer as well. That song was his own and original composition for his one and only wife kz. Anyway he already had alot of opm songs since then which been soothing our souls for how many years.

TJ is an acoustic singer-songwriter who already made a name for himself in the local music entertainment even before Moira became super famous.. He wrote this song PALAGI for KZ & first performed it on the 10th anniversary of the first day they met.. He surprised KZ on a date & pranked her - she thought she was booked to perform in an event.. He actually released a video clip of this on his KZbin channel.. TJ & KZ are very popular celebrity couple in the PH.. 😊

TJ Monterde is a Singer/Songwriter but he is more of a writer. Nope, Moira has nothing to do with this song nor any of his songs. He writes and produces his own songs. I've heard this style of music more from TJ since he was already significantly popular long before Philippines had Moira. You hear Moira in this type of song because you have listened to her more. Could you please try to listen to more of TJ's songs? They are all soothing and relaxing ☺️

TJ Monterde is a singer-songwriter. He is very popular for his lyrics in which a lot of people can relate to. He has been in the music industry even way back in 2012. What made him even more popular is because his lyrics are very heartfelt especially the ones that were made because of and for KZ, his wife. btw. you mentioned kissing? He did kissed KZ (which totally surprised KZ🤣) on stage during one of his concerts recently.

The word per word translation of the lyrics did not do it justice at all 😂 TJ is a great lyricist, that's his trademark and what makes his songs popular.. I knew him first with "kung siya man" which is a super sad song about a girl choosing between 2 guys, basically he's saying if he chooses the other guy he'll wish them happiness but if the guy hurts her then he'll be there to steal her away.. "puhon" is his new song, which kinda means in God's time.. it's also a good one
