I learned to use a Dremel instead of hand file so I don't get sore arms 😆 For real tho girl you teach us so much and I can truly say I wouldn't have stuck with learning dips at all if I didn't come across you in OG. Everyone is great but you're always there! ❤️ Congrats on 3k!! #3kgiveaway

Do you need to remove the gel occasionally or can you just keep doing refills? Ive heard people say all sorts of things.

Great question! So normally I do fills and only remove almost everything every few months. You don’t need to totally remove everything- I filed down to the thinnest possible layer to “ remove everything”. I learned that from Susie at nail career education!! she’s here on KZbin!

hi, when i remove most of my existing builder gel, i can use the coarse sanding band? then around my natural nails (where new nails grew and around my cuticle area) i can use 180 grit? sorry still getting a little confused with all the terminology 😂 thanks

Happy to help!! I like to use a coarse safety bit to remove most of my existing builder gel then switch to a fine sanding band when I’m close to my natural nails. I also use the fine sanding band to prep the growth area on my nails. You can use that or a higher grit nail file- 180 and up!
